At Agtron Enterprises, we manufacture agricultural electronics and supply aftermarket seed blockage monitoring systems for air seeders and other seeding implements. Our products are used by farmers throughout the world in their seeding operations. We are growing and are looking for an energetic Territory Representative to help maintain our current customer relationships while developing new sales opportunities as they arise.
What You Will Do
As a Territory Representative, you will become the face of Agtron Enterprises within your assigned territory. Your responsibilities will include:
- Visiting agricultural equipment dealerships to build and strengthen relationships.
- Calling on prospective dealers and customers to introduce Agtron products.
- Conducting product demonstrations to dealership staff.
- Attending farm shows, trade shows, and industry events.
- Following up with existing customers and dealers to ensure a positive experience.
- Assisting customers with technical support by phone during the busy seeding season.
- Working closely with our office team to resolve customer issues and improve our products.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, dealer visits, and potential sales opportunities.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys working independently while remaining connected with the rest of our team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, professional attitude.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel overnight when required.
- The ability to learn technical products and explain them clearly to customers.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Agricultural experience is considered an asset but is not required. We are happy to train someone who is enthusiastic, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.
This position combines travel with office collaboration. Most of your time will be spent visiting dealerships and customers throughout your territory. During the seeding season, you'll spend more time providing phone support from our Saskatoon office. Outside of peak season, you'll focus primarily on dealer visits, attending trade shows, and business development.
Regular in-person collaboration with our Saskatoon office is an important part of this role.
