Earn money caring for pets — right in your own neighbourhood

Petolina is a Canadian platform where pet care stays local. We're looking for trustworthy, pet-loving neighbours to join as sitters and get matched with owners in the same neighbourhood.

Why sit with Petolina?

Bookings come from your neighbourhood. No driving 45 minutes for a 30-minute walk. Your clients are real neighbours — the kind you'll run into at the same park.
You set your own rates. We suggest Canadian medians (boarding ~$50/night, drop-in ~$25, walks ~$22/30-min), but you decide. Paid securely to your bank through Stripe — no chasing e-transfers.
Everything in one place. Bookings, payments, messaging, and reviews — all on Petolina. Owners message you directly. No middle-tier customer service.
Your strengths shine. Great with senior pets, reactive dogs, or exotics? Have a fenced yard or a quiet street? Owners filter on exactly what they need, and your specialties surface.
Free to list. No subscription, no monthly minimum, no exclusivity. We take a small platform fee only on completed bookings — nothing upfront, nothing for empty weeks. Cancel any time.

What we're looking for

18+ and a Canadian resident
Genuine love for animals and reliable, caring habits
Punctual, communicative, and comfortable following feeding/exercise/medication instructions
A clean, safe, smoke-free space (if boarding at home)
Willing to act fast — contact a vet immediately if a pet shows signs of illness or injury

No prior professional experience required — many of our best sitters started by caring for friends-of-friends.
