Full job description

Manulife Wealth Incorporated is one of Canada's independent investment and insurance dealers, offering personalized wealth management, retirement planning, and protection strategies.

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Portfolio Manager and team.

Responsibilities

Client communication: act as an administrative point of contact for clients, assisting with paperwork and answering administrative questions. Direct any questions about investments, products, or account recommendations to the Portfolio Manager or a licensed team member.
Documentation collection: follow up with clients to gather the documents needed to complete their paperwork.
Data entry and verification: enter client information accurately into the firm's software and verify it for completeness and accuracy to prevent discrepancies.
File management: organize and maintain files, ensuring all supporting documentation is properly validated and stored in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Other administrative responsibilities as required.

Requirements

Professional, friendly, and clear in client communication
Detail-oriented and organized
Proficient and accurate in documentation collection and data entry
Able to prioritize tasks and manage time in a busy work environment
Work independently as well as with the team
Strong computer and keyboarding skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn industry-specific software

We Offer

20 Hour Work Week: Monday – Friday; with some flexibility around start time
$23-25 / hour, based on experience
Long-term, stable employment
