Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, take and serve orders accurately, and ensure a welcoming environment for all guests. This role involves serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and food handling protocols. The Server/Bartender will play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for our customers through excellent service and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems like Micros POS.
Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards.
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills.
Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including tables, bar, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including drinks and food options.
Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations throughout shifts.
Follow all food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy periods.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Hospitality mindset with a friendly attitude and strong communication skills. This position offers an engaging work environment where excellent service is valued, and team members are supported in delivering memorable guest experiences.
