Jaylor Fabricating Inc. is looking for an IT Systems Support Technician to join our team for a 12 month contract.

Role Details:

Adhere to health & safety – we all go home safe at the end of the day.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users across all departments.
Assist with maintaining, supporting, and optimizing IT systems, hardware, software, and related infrastructure.
Support the day-to-day operation of servers, workstations, mobile devices, managed network systems, and plant floor technology.
Assist with supporting the organization’s ERP/MRP system, including end-user assistance, troubleshooting, and basic system support.
Research technical issues and solutions and report findings and recommendations to the IT Manager as required.
Assist with maintaining IT security standards, user access controls, system patching, and backup procedures.
Provide employee training and support for software, hardware, and IT-related systems as required.

Required Skills:

College diploma or university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT support, systems support, or helpdesk-related role is preferred.
Experience supporting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 administration is considered an asset.
Experience with SQL Server administration and troubleshooting is considered an asset.
A good understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, VPN connectivity, wireless networking, and managed network infrastructure is considered an asset.
Experience supporting ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide professional support to end users.
