Country Signs is growing again!

Located 45 mins north of the GTA, in Tottenham.

For over 35 years, Country Signs has been the leader in new construction and refurbishing of gas stations across Canada. We provide a one stop shop for our customers including but not limited to full installations, repairs, and service. We pride ourselves on doing whatever it takes to satisfy the customer with a ‘can do’ mentality. We are currently looking for a dedicated, hard-working individual to join our team and be an ambassador for Country Signs.

This is a contract, temporary position.

Position Purpose

To accurately audit digital construction project photos and Excel documents to identify specific materials and objects, extract key data points, and perform accurate visual counts that support project tracking, inventory management, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

Organize large batches of incoming project photos into a structured, easily searchable electronic filing system
Scan digital documents and images to locate specific data points, items such as structural materials, anomalies, or target items as defined by project parameters
Scan site photos to locate specific items such as structural materials
Perform exact manual counts of delivery items, installed fixtures, or stockpiles shown in photos
Input accurate numerical counts and location data into dedicated Microsoft Excel tracking documents
Cross-reference visual data (photos) with textual data (Excel spreadsheets) to ensure accuracy and consistency
Maintain highly organized and version-controlled files on the company's shared drive
Update project tracking sheets to reflect the daily review progress
Use filters and sorting functions to group counts by specific job sites, dates, or subcontractors.
Compare visual quantities in photos against delivery receipts or billing invoices to spot discrepancies
Flag unclear, blurry, or mislabeled photos that prevent accurate counting to the project manager.
Follow strict privacy and confidentiality guidelines when handling sensitive documents or personal information
Meet daily or weekly review quotas while maintaining a high standard of accuracy

Qualifications & Skills

Ability to quickly memorize visual guidelines, recognize specific materials and items, and adapt to new software or workflows
Exceptional skills in managing large digital file structures, maintaining version control in Excel, and tracking personal daily targets
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision after receiving initial project training
Experience entering data and navigating Excel sheets
High capacity to spot subtle differences, errors, or specific visual markers in large batches of data/photos
Ability to maintain high accuracy during repetitive, high-volume visual audits
Ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks and meet independent productivity goals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
