Job or Campus Folder Oilsands Mine Planning Engineers Job Description The Mine Planning Engineer reports to the Mine Planning Lead and develops comprehensive short, medium and long-range mine and reclamation plans as part of a multidisciplinary team of mine engineering, environmental and regulatory personnel. Key responsibilities may include: . Development of Short, Medium and Long-Range Mine Plans . Development of Annual Planning and Budgeting Business Plans . Reserves Assessments . Development of Mine Material Balance and Reclamation Material Balance . Reclamation Planning . Pit Design and Optimization . Waste Dump and Reclamation Material Stockpile Design . Fixed and Mobile Equipment Specification, Selection and Productivity Analysis . Development of Economic Inputs and Evaluations .
