Mental Health & Addictions Clinician (Adult & Youth)
: Under the direction of the Team Leader, Mental Health and Addictions services, and as part of the MultiDisciplinary Team, this position is responsible for providing a range of alcohol and drug services and interventions along the health continuum from health promotion, harm reduction, including blood borne virus awareness and treatment, addressing the full spectrum of need. This position participates in a multidisciplinary health care team approach and provides community based case management system: providing individual assessment and treatment planning for individuals experiencing problems related to their substance use; provides individual, couples or group interventions as identified through assessment. Provides, support, guidance and education to substance users and their families.
