Located in the Town of Peace River (485 kms northwest of Edmonton). Springfield Elementary serves approximately 322 students from grades K - 4 and T.A. Norris Middle School serves approximately 289 students from grades 5-8. This is a full-time shared position between Springfield Elementary School and T.A. Norris Middle School. Initial Teaching Assignment: Cree culture instruction at the Elementary and Junior High level Ability to speak Cree fluently is an asset, but not mandatory. The successful candidate must possess an Education degree and be eligible for an Alberta teaching certificate. This position will commence as soon as a suitable candidate is secured.
