My team was great to work with but this has nothing to do with the company. The company has been sued on several different times but all from the maltreatment of the employee. This is why the hiring is through a temporary agency as strathroy is small and people talk and therefore the result is no One wants to work there. The health and safety issues are overlooked on all levels and many go unreported altogether. The workers are pushed to do twice the amount that is ergonomically friendly to the body but management doesnt care.The supervisors in some departments are lacking even basic skills such as lack of communication and an rude. I watched as more than one employee was berated and made to feel less than human in front of their whole team. This behaviour goes without discipline. Bad environment altogether I was happy to find employment elsewhere. I would never reccomend  this company unless desperate to be honest. The company cannot keep even their QA people as they get in a year experience and leave also. Worst organization to work for by far....

There's a strong mentality of what's best for the business here not what's best for the workers, which is understandable to an extent but limits get pushed to unsafe levels unfortunately. It seems accucaps would hire more people on rather than train their current employees and help them move up/ give them a reason to stay. I knew people raising families on these wages and they told me of their struggles but upper management constantly tries to take focus off this by saying how well the business is doing but refuse to acknowledge the problems the workers struggle with i.e. shifts, wages, unsafe conditions, etc. 

The supervisors were great in my department and the employees were as well. The most enjoyable part of the job was the people you worked alongside with because a lot of them face the same/similar struggles you face. The hardest part of the job was when upper management would pressure the employees to work faster and faster until they reach unsafe conditions, which in turn can lead to big mistakes.

The typical day is 12 hour shifts with three 4 hr rotations which include different tasks that you could do. I learned many important aspects about working in a factor as well as in a warehouse. The management and co-workers are great and always willing to help if you ask. The hardest part of the job is getting accustom to the 12 hour shifts since they are 12 hours during the day for two weeks and then switches to 12 hour nights for two weeks. The most enjoyable part of the job is the friends you make while there and, if you are both hard working, you can get partnered up the whole time which helps the time go by quicker.

On a typical day i would have to:
- work in two and sometimes three different department
- in the production of gel capsules for different pharmaceutical products such as ibuprofen, dayquil, nightquil etc. 
- I work in the formulation of the fill that went in the capsules, and also made the gel that formed the capsules.
- I also had experience in visual inspection of products and final packaging.

Good place to work if you enjoy 12 hour continental shifts. One month on Days and one month on Nights.  I learned a lot about the machines and how they work. Learn to fill out paperwork. I learned about proper GMP and SOP.
Hardest part of the job is working nights and just standing around when the machines are being worked on.  
Talking with fellow workers and learning new things about the machines are the most enjoyable part of the job.

You work 12 hour days which takes a toll on your body after time. I learned a lot about Pharmaceutical products and how they are made. Management is very demanding on what they want done. You have a culture of many different nationalities and cultures that you really never heard of. The most enjoyable part of the job was the days off to rest your body.

I have learned how to run the machine when the operator is busy doing something else.
I have a great bunch of people I work with We are all team players.
The hardest part of the job would have to be doing the switch from days to nights.

The continental shifts are not very effective for Life Balance. 12 hours of a repetitive job in the same position. It doesn't have a good Health and Safety program.

This was a highly organized work environment. This made it easy to employees to do their work. I was particularly happy with how people were will to teach new people and help them familiarize with their duties.

Long hours were nice but they didn't follow health and safety to make sure people didn't get hurt doing jobs repetitively that can be harmful to the body.
