as a TPT, I felt that I was aptly compensated for my time at Accu-caps. Unfortunately, the schedule often changed with very little notice. There is a high turn-over there, as they often lay off TPTs with no chance of a call back. The continental shift makes it very hard to balance one's life, however, I am sure that schedule has since changed several times since I was there, based on what i was told by full-time employees.

Managed R & D activities for Capsule development and launch.
Learned to manage projects from inception to launch.  learned to manage budget and people (2 chemists).
High stress work environment with difficult stakeholders.
Hardest part was to comply with lack of resources.
Most enjoyable part was coaching and mentoring staff as well as implementing  new lab at the company.

I learned how to work in a GMP environment with plenty of attention to detail. There is a total disconnect between management and their employees. Management acts with an Us vs You mentality. Everybody I know that has worked there or currently still works at Accucaps agrees that it is the worst managed company they have ever worked for. The hardest part of the job is working hard for a company that was trying to eliminate your job. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with some really great people.

Management would never take responsibility for their mistakes which ended up with a high turnover of employees. As a result of the  mismanagement the culture has since become unionized and weakened the company even further. I my opinion,  the union was needed to allow the employees to have a voice from the bullies of management.

never feel like part of the management team. always putting out fire very minimal support from anyone except other supervisor. what you do is never good enough. always micro managing without knowing what actually goes on in production or willing to understand what we do to keep production going.

I had a Healthy working atmosphere. Operators and co workers always encouraged and supported in learning different Auto machines. The hardest part of the Job is; some times if any machine stops working, will have to leave work and go home.

Daily workload too much for current staffing levels
Despite your best efforts, very difficult to get recognized and advance in this company.
Management decisions don't make any sense and are not explained to try to make sense of them.
Majority of workers are great and are sincerely putting forth a great effort for the company.

A very rewarding work experience. Lots of opportunity for growth and development. Excellent leadership- willing to develop talent and dedicated to personal development. Decent activities for employees. Fair pay and benefits. Rewarding experience.

Very few colleagues are interested in helping out.

Departments are confrontational instead of cooperative.

Terrible corporate culture driven from the senior level.

At least 6 Different HR VP's while I worked less than 7 years there.

My co-workers are a great bunch of people. Department supervisor and manager are relatively new and the work environment has deteriorated since they started working there. They are the reason I am seeking employment elsewhere
