I more than enjoyed working at the mill. It's taught me an apprecciation of a good work crew, and what a good job really is. I enjoyed learning the inner workings of the machines that help proccess the grain, as it sheds light on the work that goes into every piece of food that sits in my fridge. You will be given some pretty stressful conditions to work under, but honestly it's relaxed and fun once you get the hang of it, I even felt proud of the work I accomplished at the end of the day. 
The atmosphere in the mill is work-oriented of course, but the workers more like a family than a crew.


Only left AGT to seek more opportunities, otherwise the company and LMR side was good, management started off a bit rough but was good by the end and they listen to your concerns. Excellent perks if you work in the office, awesome benefits from works events and more. Most of the staff is great to deal with. Lots of long term staff. Work go back in heart beat if the opportunity was given. 

Senior management has very little knowledge of what occurs, taking the words of long time employees at face value. Little to no oversight. Poor communication. No objectives or goals. No budgets or project management.

Needs more organization and better management practices, was a decent job definitely better then some other jobs in the area. Managers need to sit down and listen to all employees and make some changes 

You will have no input. Unsafe. Bad tools or no tools. The worst job I've ever had. The manager is constantly playing people against one another. Will not invest in tools or anything else you need to do your job. Runs the place like a slum-lord. Must work overtime constantly just to make enough to survive. 

i gained knowledge from my jobs, learned to fix broken machines. fun and enjoyable make greasing machine bearings, replacing motor drive belts.
mix and learned with different culture, behavioral, religion, race with fellow immigrants.

Going from a very corporate environment . AGT prides itself in it's culture and diversity and it shows from top down!
For the individuals who want to work hard and make an impact while building their skillsets, this is the place for you.

Poor management no proactive approach and no risk management.
Everyone just passes buck to the next person and nothing gets done. 
They look the other way and treat laziness as the norm.

Typical day as a driver was fairly relaxing 
Management needs to pay more attention to the employees needs 
Most of people are easy to work with 
 Hardest part of the job was early mornings mmornings

Great people, great benefits, room for advancement. Year round employment and no experience neccesary, they will train you as needed. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable in their positions
