Egotistical and unethical management procedures, attitudes and behaviour.
 Management has full control over every decision including protocols and procedures that change on the daily, depending on their mood and what they feel like dealing with that day. 
Complete disregard for staff suggestions and safety. They provide little to no -legitimate training and let the clients get away with whatever they want, even dictating which staff continue to work in the house. Not only do you have to worry about clients being inappropriate and disrespectful but management as well. 
HR is a mere spectator, that is used to do the dirtywork. They don’t want their team to be unified, and approachable. They don’t care about your concerns, you have no job security or protection. 
Management views staff as nothing more than bodies to fill shifts, you are not valued or rewarded for your hard work and effort. They make it well known that you are easily replaceable. So unless you are a mindless robot with no self respect, I suggest looking elsewhere for solid employment. 

All employees are overworked, and quality staff are overlooked and unappreciated. Opportunity for advancement within the company seeminly appears to be based on how much *** you kiss. 
This company is completely unorganized and inconsistent. Scheduling and pay rate is an absolute joke. 

This company is unbelievably shady and dishonourable. It should be shut down on the fact alone, that they don’t know how to professionally behave and treat their employees with respect. Their main focus is filling their own pockets with money and don’t care about anyone but themselves.

The staff here are some of the hardest workers you will ever meet and are wonderful to work with. The clients are treated well and are manageable. 

The pay is $14-$16/hr but can change with little notice and you are paid once a month. There are no benefits.

Management is terribly unorganized and mistreats their workers. Safety concerns are ignored or laughed off, workers are shown that they are replaceable on a daily basis and leadership is inconsistent. Not only do you need to worry about client violating your boundaries but also management disrespecting them. You will not receive the crisis intervention training that they commit to providing you when you start the position. 

This company is extremely short staffed and this has consistently been the case. You will be asked on a daily basis to pick up extra shifts and may end up working 7 days a week or pulling double and triple shifts. Scheduling is a mess and you may not know where you're working until an hour before your shift. You may be moved from client to client and it sometimes causes harm to the client when there is no consistency in who is staffed at their house. 

A typical day at work involves administering medication, documentation, recreational activities and a lot of driving the client wherever they want to go. The recreational part of this position can be a lot of fun. It's supposed to be a 2 staff to 1 client ratio but this rarely happens. Expect to be single staffed. 

The hardest part of the job is being spoken to like you're incompetent by management whenever a problem arises. The best part is participating in recreational activities with clients.

Alliance was an awful, cut throat place to work. Clients were hard to handle on the best of days, putting your safety at risk on normal days, and absolutely terrible on the worst of days. The pay was poor for such an intense job. They would schedule you to work 16hrs/day 3 days in a row but would not pay overtime (even if you worked 24hrs in a row which happened quite often). There were always problems with inconsistency with the hours you worked and what you actually got paid for. The owners are terrible to deal with, and most of the house leads are clueless. The client has all say in everything, and if they misbehave or put your safety at risk you're told to give them a treat or take them out to dinner- out of your pocket- and you won't be paid back. 

Horrible sketchy place to work.

This company is awful to work at. The owners will tell you straight to your face that you are replaceable. Pays are seldom correct and are often late. The clients are rewarded for their bad behaviour and staff are never supported by upper management. Staff are also encouraged to disregard their own safety to cover management's mistakes. The company ignores ministry policy and legalities. You'll be treated terribly so if you love yourself don''t do it.

The management here is overwhelmingly kind, friendly and warm
I had a wonderful experience and was sufficiently trained for the position allowing me to be well prepared for success 
I would highly recommend Alliance for anyone interested in showcasing their talents and wanting to grow with an incredibly group supporting them along their journey

There’s little to no contact with management when you really need them and when you call on call for support, they never answer.  They find every way to blame everything that’s gone wrong on the staff. You will be asked to work on your days off.  If someone is sick or just doesn’t show up for their shift (which does happen more than it should) you are stuck there to work a double or sometimes triple shifts

Do NOT work here. The management is horrible and they let the clients determine who stays employed. The owners pay garbage and they get what they pay for.  It's a cut throat environment where people will throw you under the bus for an extra dollar. You can be their favourite person one day and the next day be out the door. Don't bother. They don't even pay properly.

I am not sure how this place is still in business. Staff and clients are treated horribly. The staff are made very aware they are replaceable and their concerns are disregarded. The owners are very condescending to the point of bullying. Stay away.

the management team at this place will promise you the world but in the end you get nothing! they bribe the clients, have people working non stop with no break in between and when they put up a fight about it they are the ones at fault. my best advice to anyone is turn down the job offer.
