I worked with one campaign for almost a year and I really enjoyed it. It was stressful at times but that's true for any customer service job. When the contract ended we were all moved to another campaign and that's where issues started.
Everyone was rude and the HR department was not helpful at all.

More resources for employees. 
Yes, statistics matter but threatening the loss of a position due to long time on the phone and caring for each client even if it takes a little more time is not ok. 
The stress during this job is unreal pay should be higher and lunch breaks should be longer. 
I love working here but when a client is being negative and yelling at your employees for no reason you should have your employees back instead of putting them down. Short staffed and always have technical difficulties. Im extremely disappointed. 

This is a collections job.  Your job is to collect on clients who have not paid their credit card in anywhere from 60 -160+ days.  These people are not nice, they will snowball and try to pull the wool over your eyes.  
The other people you work with are not quite as nice as they could be and you will get customers who have dealt with 3 other agents who will just be angry and upset.  Its your job to calm them down and get them to pay.  Be charismatic but if you have a soft heart, this position is not for you

What is the best part of working at the company?
The only good thing about alorica was working from home. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They don’t care about you. You’re just a number to them. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
So so toxic. The only time you get feedback is when you’re doing something wrong.

I collect debts and I do not enjoy doing so. The hardest part of the job is having no job security. They could fire you any moment they want. As much as I respect the pay, the management is bad. The supervisors are not supportive. Avoid this if you are a student.


Management are people that please each other.  No skills dealing with staff and very unprofessional behavior. Not interested in giving proper training and feedback. This is a very strange call center in Hamilton.

The contract was not explained properly.

They took me in with no experience, and team leaders and operations manager are great leaders! Goals can be hard to hit sometimes, most of the time it's a game of chance, but it's undeniable that there is also skill involved that you will be trained for.

repetitive job, Nice incentives, pays for time and presence and not skills. Fixed schedule, team lunches, paid training, goals are too high to achieve everyday.

It is a decent place to work but the salary is not the best. The supervisors and managers are decent people who will try there best to guide you along the way.
