I believe they want to help with all the challenges in our work force.
A typical workday would start off early in the morning going to Maternity and L/D and Neonatal.  Ask if anyone had any Cerner issues or equipment issues over night, if so fix the issues, if it cannot be addressed, bring it up to the Project Manager and builders IT team for resolution.  
Work with the nursing and doctors staff to help them with whatever there is to asst them in making their program a softer workflow for them to have less computer time and more patient care time. 

The most enjoyable part of my job is helping others enjoy this program and feel confident enough after we leave that they and continue to rock this program.

Typical Desktop day.
Standard MAC support duties.
Imaging.
Installing.
Network support.
Support other departments
Deal with coworkers in other offices.
