Great company to work for! 
Lots of opportunities to advance of you put in the work. Benefits and overall a great work environment.  I've been in the security industry for a decade with this company and plan on sticking around for many more adventures. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Most stressful part about working here is dealing with dangerous individuals. But know that I have the support of the company if  needed.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
12 hour days are typical for me

Typically the average day starts with finishing  and submitting sales reports from the previous day, making some phone calls and setting up any appointments. Go out and make some sales calls, usually cold calls and providing potential clients information on different products and services. Providing estimates based on the clients needs for their home or business, for alarms, door access, cameras or all different guard services. Arranging installations and gathering information for the technicians doing the installation.Following up after the products and or services have been installed and arranged.

Apex does not have your back when you need it..they hire some questionable guards..boardering on psycho. Powertripping is rampant and they monitor your every move..owners either dont care or approve of management s bad operational activities..it seems the jerks get away with anything..keep your dignity and sanity and stay away from Apex

Great company.  Entry level to experienced guards will get a challenge working at Apex.  The ONLY full service security in Grande Prairie, allows for advancement.  Guard, Technician, Sales, and Management are all possible with this company.  The expectation is to provide the best service to the customer, and it's rewarding!  

Family owned business that continually is looking for improvement.
The work culture is excellent, get rewarded based on how much time and effort you would like to invest in the company.

If you want to join an industry that is growing at a breakneck pace, there is no better company that you can be a part off.

Don't work for them, management has gone down hill the last 6 months. The company is making more money than very but the workers see none of it. In fact they've been cutting benefits and overtime from workers. The management is spiteful and abusive to staff.

You will learn a lot, commercial, residential security, card access, CCTV and little bit of networking. Every day is challenging and will be new. Mon-Friday 8-5. On-call depends.

The hardest part of the dispatch position is keeping track of all the cameras, reports, and incidents that come up all at once. However, the coworkers are supportive while you're learning, and once you get started it all makes sense and it's rather easy.

I worked many sites, as the site work needed some sites were ongoing site access. Some sites were just installation of camera or security systems or both.
The best part of the job was every day could be something new

Good place to learn to deal with difficult people and situations. Management is challenging to work with as they have no industry experience. Not a long term job but you’ll have some fun stories to tell.
