Fast paced environment with the focus of taking advantage of the client and focusing only on how to make more money on the deal.  Pay was ok as everyone was paid out of the same pot, but everything was all about the numbers only, cut off co workers and colleagues in the process for your own gain and acclamation and acknowledge to senior management is the name of the game.  Every aspect of the deal is to take advantage of the client from the beginning of the deal to the end.  

If you like working long hours and getting yelled at by managers for other peoples screw up then this is the place for you.  Bad managers got it easy and hard workers get yelled at in front of staff and customers.  There is a certain manager that brown noses the owner ,drives around in their cars all day. and throws others peoples names under the bus.  Low pay no chance of moving up and forced to work overtime.  Seems like 80% of applewood kia employees have a major attitude problem.

The pay wasn't sufficient enough for the amount of work I was required to do as per management, but i was able to work with the compensation I received. Applewood had many convenient locations in the lower mainland. And was able to be transferred if required and requested.

Hired as Service Manager. Promised training for the corporate environment vs small business manager from which i came. Training didn't come. "Thrown to the Wolves" mentality.  The job didn't quite work out as planned. 

fastpace, i learn how to distinguish what year and model of a car, the management is quite good and supportive, they taking advantage on people, during winter is the hardest part the enjoyablle moment you can meet people a lot

Everyone in the company is pretty welcoming. There is tons of training available. Tons of cold calling and tying to schedule appointments. Very competitive as everyone is trying ti make a sale. Most enjoyable part of the job is sending a HAPPY customer home in their new vehicle

Lot managers think they are entitled to treat their employees like slaves
No breaks,.mandatory overtime for minimum wage
Ask for vacation they decline my request 
They will paige you to come to the showroom and yell at you infront of customers to make you feel bad

I learned nothing at this dealership.  Rips off customers and the culture is cut throat and severely broken. Worse dealership I have ever worked at in 20 years. 

contract work--very stressful environment--managers needed anger management help---excellent pay structure and bonus plans--no benefits--no basic serurity

This group believe in building relation and sell service. Applewood group take care for customer and employees too. I will definitely recommend Applewood for your next vehicle purchase.
