Hire with longterm employment promises only to lay a person off a few months later. Did lots of mandatory overtime for the few months being there as they needed to catch up on their inventory. Seems a bit like they hire new people just to use them to catch up on the workload. Be wary of the company's hiring practices. Also, the salary structure was extremely poorly presented in the end. Make sure to ask them to thoroughly explain how the salary structure works. Work is easy enough but physically demanding. It doesn't matter if one is a good employee when seniority counts against you in the end. They should rather just hire on a contract basis so there are no unexpected surprises. Companies should warn people of layoffs well in advance so a person can at least have time to start making other plans. You must give two weeks notice even as a new employee but a company can just drop a bomb on new workers with no worries which is an extremely unfair practice and that needs to change. A person has responsibilities and for that reason alone I will not work at this company again. Will only recommend this company to others as a temporary solution while looking for something better. Also, expect every second person to be a chief when working there. One person tells you to do it like this and the other tells you to do it like that. NO CONSISTENCY.

Typically started the day with getting your work tasks for the day.  Reported to that station and began working.  All duties and tasks were set for the day and required team work for productivity and meeting deadlines.  The team and management were eager to teach, train and assist with ensuring quality work.  The hardest part of this position was having to drive the forklift from shop to shop if their was a staff shortage.  I enjoyed having my tasks set out and the fast paced environment.

Your not a human being to this company your a number and that’s it. You have life/family  problems they don’t care they make you choose your job or your family you get harassed daily the new Forman is an incompetent person. Advancement in the company is your last name. Father pressing manager, foreman son, other Forman nephew next to be Forman nephew.. both nephews are incompetent and no one knows how they even work here... oh yeah wait the last name.

safety program is geared toward putting the financial burden on the employee with suspensions over minor infractions.
most people are good but you must watch what you say and who you think is your friend

Hi there a typical day at arrisrcraft consists of driving forklift, lifting heavy materials and working in a fast paced environment. It is a good place to work if you are a hard worker.

Enjoyed working here.  Boss was good,pay and bonuses were awesome.  I liked the rotating shift.  Nice physical job which was good as well.  Miss some of the friends I made there

Great workplace to find out if you're into factory work or not, good benefits and pay, most co-workers are enjoyable to be around, winter and summer shutdowns with pay!

good paying job but 3 shift rotaion gets tirying and hard to advance in the company very physicaly demanding job and lots of heavy lifting but overall not a bad jod
