What is the best part of working at the company?

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part can be managing challenging behaviours or unexpected situations, but I’ve learned to stay calm, follow proper procedures, and provide the best support possible.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is caring, supportive, and focused on teamwork. Staff work closely together to provide quality care, and the culture emphasizes respect, inclusion, and compassion for both clients and employees.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Strong and professional. A typical day involves supporting individuals with their daily routines, including personal care, meals, and activities. I also monitor their well-being, administer or assist with medications as required, document daily reports, and work closely with the team to ensure quality care.

I was a new grad at this time so I was willing to take anything but pay was pretty bad and I didn’t realize it at the time. Pay was $25/h for RPNs! For reference, agency RPN salary within and around the Toronto area ranges between $40-$50. Now I am paid $40 where I am at currently.  

Orientation is not provided, they only gave me an hours worth of paid orientation at the facility prior to working a shift on the unit which was pretty crazy. 

Also they don’t deduct taxes. What this means is this is a way for them to avoid paying extra and make you do the work when tax season comes. 

Finally, shifts are definitely once in a blue moon. Don’t take this job if you’re looking for job security. 

I have worked at Ask4care for 2 years now and have learnt so much in the process. It is a great place to learn various skills relating to HR and the health sector. My colleagues are great and the  management is supportive while understanding the needs of employees be it visiting family overseas or flexible hours for important non work appointments.

High level of professionalism in handling operational and staff related issues. Good relationship and efficient coordination on-field staff by the supervisors.

It's a good place and less stressful place to work. Residents are mostly nice and respectful. Cultural differences with the ability to learn new language in the long term. Management staff should ask for opinions before making decisions carefully. 

worked for ever 2 months and have not gotten paid , one excuse after the other . none structured organization when it comes to pay . and you have to beg for shifts 

The shifts worked should be  steady eight hours even for at lease four days for a week. A typical day at work is the social interaction of the staff  of the organization to an agency staff.

Ask4care is a good  place to work and they provide  excellent  care for people  in need.They have qualified  and experienced  care professionals. They take very good  care of their staff,paying  promptly  with bonus
