The conditions at the new stadium are some of the worst working environments I've ever had the displeasure to work in. There's limited water, poor access to bathrooms, no where to heat or store lunch properly and daily problems with parking. At one point the company moved the sign in log from one end of the huge facility to the complete opposite end causing chaos for guards. I don't mean the other end of a hallway, I mean the other end of a commercial runway that is 2km is length. This walk had to be completed in 40 degree weather with humidity.

In addition to these poor conditions, the team isn't much better. Most co-workers cannot speak coherent English leading to poor communication and fragmented environments. In fact most don't even communicate in English on the work site, often choosing to speak in another language instead. There's absolutely no diversity as most of  the team at the office and in the field are from one background. Scheduling is difficult and incompetent and you can definitely expect to have problems being paid properly.

Instead of fixing these things, ASP will send you requests for inclusion surveys knowing that the make up of their environment is anything but that. ASP embodies many of the ways the country is declining as a whole. Do not work at ASP. 

ASP is a fairly decent  place to work.  Been here for almost 3 years now. I can say ASP managers, trainers and Human Resource managers at the airport are great to work with. The supervisor are also helpful but a few supervisors are tough to get along with as they might not like your personality. Though if you looking to build a career in advancement at the airport in other jobs,  this could be a great place to start working. However when it comes to salary and wages the company is cheap as they pay bare minimum compared to other security companies that pay 18 to 19 dollars an hour Considering security is a high risk proffesion. 

Everyone I met in the company is open, warm, inviting and friendly. They all enjoy what they do and are always willing to go out of there way to help others. A great deal of trust and creative freedom had been bestowed upon me, which was precisely what I wanted and needed from an employer. All middle and senior managers value suggestion and input from all employees and encourage ambition and innovation. Pay is ok, with a great opportunity for growth. Through ASP I was able to get an opportunity at GTAA with starting at $35/hour.

In the simplest way I can put it is that ASP INC. don't care about you at all. They bid low on contracts to make certain they get offered the contract by GTAA. Management uses an excuse such as there still in the works of figuring out how much you'll get paid, which i guarantee won't be over $14.00 as a full timer; imagine working there in the winter -20, -30 for that much. Did i forget to mention that Supervisors only get paid $16.00 a hour.

All i can say is there cheap and if your looking for a full time position within this company at the airport stay away your better of being a part timer at the airport.

I found myself working at the main-made island airport in Toronto, without any proper training or explanation from any supervisor from this company, then after 6 months and one week, I was the one who made all the schedule and relive for people who got sick during a week and half, then I got sick of course, they called me in their office and told me I was 50 % what I should be for them, maybe they wanted my blood or maybe my soul.
What I learned from them is that no mater what you do for them was never enough.

While employed with this company; just recently,  I feel not inclusive to the people  whom hired me and whom they considered worthy or trusting in their ranks. They don't have many canadian candidates for a so called canadian company. 

And tend to make mistake you'd never see a canadian ran company would due.
Although they have exceptional work. They have induavidual that are hard to cumminicate and comprehend the words they say.

Stay away from this company!!!
*Stay away, especially if you are from the VISIBLE MINORITY. 
*Stay away from this company, if you are a devoted worker; because your hardwork will not be appreciated. Infact, you'll be singled out for mistreatment for minding your own business and doing a good job.
*Stay away from this company if you don't want to have a terrible work for standing up for injustice.references, because they will actually give you a bad refer

If you book off, they will force you to come in. If you call in sick, they will threaten your emloyment. If you check your phone for the time, they will give you a warning letter. If you make a request for anything (uniform replacement, memobook, etc), expect to make the request more than 5 times before they give it to you.

They don't care about your employment rights. They don't give a poo if you did the right thing either. They will replace you in a heartbeat if they don't even like you.

Upper management has left/quit in the last few months nearly crippling the company to the point external recruiters are needed. The management that stayed must be corrupt. Shifts attended show up as cancelled. Scheduling department takes hours/days to get back to you.

It was absolutely horrible workplace starting with management. I’m a mature woman with a lot of experience and I was treated extremely poorly, I was downgraded, humiliated and more . Management hired lots of young students who spoke a language other than English and French anit’s against the code of conduct at workplace
