Most days involve assisting employees with any problems they have with the software portion of our business system.Review bank transactions, assisting with new stock set up and reviewing the previous days transactions for margin variations. I also deal and customer inquiries that cannot be handled by other departments when the managers are not available.
I am learning more about system integration and working with query.
Management are also the owners and are proactive. This workplace is the best I have ever seen for co-worker compatibility.
The hardest part of the job is dealing with multi tasking in busy season.
The most enjoyable part of my job is fulfilling the needs of customers and assisting revenue department staff to do their job more effectively

I´ve been working at Avenue Machinery as a Heavy duty Equipment Technician. They treat everyone great, now with new management they are trying to improve service as well as parts department and overall customer experience. Lately they significantly invested into specialty tools. 
Mechanic´s team is relatively young, but very knowledgable, eager for training and desire for improvements.
The whole team of employees always has positive attitude.
Most of all I appreciate "family" culture where everyone is important and everyone matters. 

Came on board over 10 years ago and have progressed in my initial role each and every year. I have looked forward to each and every day coming to work, learning new things, interacting with staff in the branch as well as our other locations. Management listens and always has an open door policy. Many current staff have been here for 5 or 10 years or more.

 I have worked for several companies in my career and I can comfortably say that DLE is a great company to work for. There is a very inclusive culture where everyone is encouraged to bring forth ideas and suggestions. We have several long term employees and I felt welcomed when I joined the company. Going to work everyday is easy when you enjoy the place you work.

A typical day at work(Douglas Lake equipment) was a lot of problem solving over the phone or one on one with the customer relating to identifying parts needed for broken down agriculture equipment.
I learned everyday about the agriculture business.
The management was strong and easy to work with.
The culture was positive.
The hardest part was memorizing every piece of machinery.
The most enjoyable part was meeting different people everyday.

They throw money at a problem, instead of addressing the culture from within. Was paid very well for the work but the work culture is toxic, reactive, and dismissive. The employees are easy enough to get along with but the management needs serious improvement. 50's style run company with reluctance to move into a more recent era. No cooperation between the shop and parts department, very clique style management team, you are either in or out. 

Avenue Machinery Corp was one of the best and most fulfilling jobs that I have worked for. The Owners were great people and treated the staff that worked for them as if they were their biggest asset. The work environment was fast paced and provided a wide range of duties.  The culture and customers were as varied as the tasks and no two were alike. It is a job that will forever be a major influence on my comparison to any other employments I obtain.

Avenue is good company to work for and grow with. New owners 7 years ago really care about the people and doing quality work, it has grown alot in the last 5 years. Avenue is now the biggest Kubota dealer in Canada.

I get factory training annually on various products and the management treat people with respect. It can be stressful during the spring when it gets super busy but the rest of the year is manageable.

Avenue is a great company to work for, especially the Abbotsford branch. It’s a fast paced environment, but they give you time to gain experience to better understand the machinery that you’re working on. Management is easy to get along with, and will assist you in areas you struggle with. As an apprentice, you can’t pick a better place to work at for gaining experience and to hone your skills.

I have now been with DLE about 9 years, and the culture and branch teams are great to work with. I have been able to help them grow and we have a vision of continuous improvement and employee retention has gone up every year. Our management team(s) are are all easy to work with and everyone has an open-door policy. Great place to start or shift your career.
