- A typical day at work: Getting all invoices produced in a minimal delay using outdated systems.

- What I learned: I learned how to multi-task and problem solve given the high volume of billing. I also learned that it's not just people you manage but emotions.

- Management worked closely with the employees. This helped management better understand their needs and in turn motivated the employees.

- My co-workers were a wonderful group to work with. We were a close knit group that organized adhoc activities outside of work. Everyone helped everyone on a daily basis.

- The hardest part of the job was having to work with so many different systems. They were outdated and not integrated. Our main client was invoiced in Excel!!!!

- My co-workers and my staff made it a pleasure to go to work every morning.

A work day is typically busy all day. I've learned to cope with stressfull situations, meet datelines and problem solve. Little communication between management and employees. Have good relations with co-workers management or otherwise. Hardest part of the job was resolving issues without proper resources. Most enjoyable part of the job is getting issues resolved and helping employees.

I worked at Avoes and all the predecessor companies for almost 26 years. My co-workers were like family and the job was technically challenging and very rewarding. I really enjoyed working there.

I was at a point in my career where I was being considered for a management position, a position I was considering when bankruptcy happened.

Unfortunately the company went bankrupt soon after being established! It was a highly publicized closure with 2600 employees out of work as of March 2012,

Was employed by Aveos for a month, I left due to a maternity leave. Worked as a technical data controller in the hangar, recording all maintenance records done on aircrafts that were in for routine checks and heavy maintenance.

I was a loyal Air Canada employee for 17 years and was transferred to Aveos as of July 2011. The company then filed for CCAA on March 19 2011. I am now looking for work in a field I love.

Work place was a fun environment, great team spirit. Always learning and gaining knowledge in any field.

Too bad Aveos didn't work because it could have been a good place to work. Hopefully, whoever will try to resurrect the place will be more success full.
