The pay was alright but certainly not the best in this industry. Not that the money made any of the rest of he job worth it.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?

The complete and total lack of any sense that their employees have lives outside of work. All that matters is what management and the office schedule and what management and the office schedule and promise the customers even it it's unrealistic or sometimes even physically impossible. I was literally once told that my family obligations would " need to be put on hold ".
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?

Stressful, unrelenting, thankless at times.  The customers were happy and angry to see us.  The only people that matter are in the office where they spend all day patting each other on the back and having bbq's that none of the field techs are available to attend.

Office personnel will literally send out company wide emails congratulating each other for the delivering a part somewhere but never talk about the tech that actually had to do the work that they were forced to work late for or away from home for extended periods.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?

Check your schedule for the day, see that your route has you criss crossing around the province because no one knows how to read a map, have it changed and extended 3 times before lunch anyway. Take constant calls from the office wanting updates and giving them information they litterally have infront of them instead of focusing on the work. Taking whatever abuse and the daily and quartet added duties for the same or less oay because they were scaling back on certain jobs rate of pay. 

My experience at this company was extremely disappointing. I have worked in many roles across Canada and have never felt this level of discomfort in a workplace. From the start, there was a noticeable lack of support and professionalism, and interactions with some peers made the environment feel unwelcoming.

As a newcomer with a foreign accent, I did not feel valued for my skills or work ethic. Communication often felt dismissive, and recognition for hard work was minimal. There appears to be limited understanding or appreciation of diversity, which makes it difficult for some employees to feel respected or included.

Job security was a serious concern. Employment decisions felt sudden, with little explanation, feedback, or documented performance discussion provided beforehand. Expectations were unclear, and management did not communicate concerns in a transparent or consistent way.

Overall, this company is poorly managed and offers a stressful work environment. In my opinion, it may not be a suitable workplace for newcomers or individuals who require clear communication, stability, and professional management.

Basically, you get new leads every week , and its assign to you but anyone really can go and sell it and nobody will do anything about it, They setup rules that no-one follows !! bottom line , you loose ur accounts, the commission, and getting frustrated every day at work, because you will watch accounts that that you worked for months, being sold by another agent and take your commission and believe me there is nothing you can do about it, its its what it is and you just have to be ok with it
No salary review no matter how may years you work there and you will not be making 65k more like 32-40!
No organized experienced sales rep will accept such!

As an unsolds employee, you have to call a maximum of clients unsold leads that were first met by a road representative that can sell the stairlifts 5 days exclusively before you with the same price possibility as my position. The company will ask you to call the same clients to a maximum of 3 times per day and have to do 100+ calls a day on a daily with around a thousand lead, which leads you to an infinite redundancy of spamming clients. The work environment is nice and friendly. Even if you have a job security, they do threaten easily their employee to fire them easily which leads to a stressful environment.

Fast paced call centre/sales office environment with capped commission structure - Micro-managed but fun working with great co-workers and sales team. Pleasant customers, majority seniors, very memorable clients. Typical day consists of following up with leads, booking appointments for estimates on stairlifts, closing sales

absolutely no training system in place. they just have you follow ppl around & hope that you learn fast. Heavy lifting/warehouse work/lots of cleaning during training all while getting paid below min. wage. (training is around 2 months average). your work van will be full of garbage after 2-3 days and they expect you to find your own place to throw it at. Management is rude and expects you to do free work. Any overtime is questioned. They have 8-10 guys that quit in the past 6 months and around 5 guys got fired. Very depressing to work here.

As long as you go to work and do your job you'll have no issues. Management is respectful/always there for me. They don't sugar coat anything. If there is a problem - you will hear it. I loved everyone that I worked with. It's definitely a family oriented feel when you work there. Always having snack days (which is totally the best). One thing I would say is they just need to improve on communicating with the staff and giving salary increases quarterly. Other than that, great management on the operations side and employees!

I had been out of the workforce for several years as a stay at home mom.  When I started working here it felt like I had been here a long time.  The management is great and my coworkers made me feel comfortable from the first day. The office is a laid back environment.  I feel they truly care about the employee's at the company.  The only thing I regret is not being here sooner.  Apply here, you wont regret it

This place is lacking a structure at all levels. Constantly failing to allocate recourses and time effectively, resulting in inefficiencies and last minute rushes. No clear system of tracking work process and inconsistent communication happening from time to time. There are multiple misunderstandings between departments and tones of misalignments in goals.    

You can do whatever you want and not get in much trouble. Poor compensation but the work isn't much. No performance based merits - Everyone is equal regardless of work ethic and quality. Lots of drama and lack of organization. Inter department fighting amongst colleagues because there is no accountability from mgmt. if you work hard, you're rewarded with more work and no extra money. People are fired because the vibes are off.
