The typical day i experienced was of a very negative, toxic environment. Anything i learned was by own effort at home. The management is extremely toxic. That is why the turnover rate is the majority of the few people there. The workplace culture is very negative, unsupportive, and demoralizing. You are not valued here unless you partake in the negative culture. 
The hardest part of the job here was to understand what was going on rather than be productive. The management asks for free work, even on weekends. No work life balance exists at this office.

No positive feedback, no reviews, and no care or sight for the future growth. No opportunity to grow.

The company is good, but not this office itself. No parking at site and the homelessness and law enforcement problem outside does not make a welcoming environment. 

The Montreal location is an excellent place to work. Management is top-notch and they care about their employees and contractors. The outlook is positive and opportunities for growth are available for good people.

The company invests in its people and in the future. It is also good to be part of a larger organization (EASi worldwide, then Aerotek and then the overall parent Allegis). The culture is good in general but I believe it stands out in Montreal, particularly in the past 2 years after a change in site management.

It’s an okay company. The pay is not good as compared to other companies.

There are almost no growth opportunities. The manager does not communicate at all, there are no pay increases, no annual or quarterly reviews.

The environment in the office is depressing. No one talks to anyone. There are some mandatory awkward lunches. Company does not value employees, that’s why you’ll always see people joining and leaving.

I’m a designer, and they taught me everything I needed to get involved. They value the team and their clients. I’m happy to be part of this dynamic and professional team. My leader is dedicated to providing high-quality drawings and engineering documents to ensure our clients that every project executes efficiently. This is an inspiring and supportive team.

Among multiple branches worldwide, the Montreal branch has a very decent management team and a nice culture. They made work feel like a family. Since the comp[any is a conglomerate there is a lot of policies and for a software developer, this is not always easy (no puns intended). You can learn a lot, its a very collaborative culture with lots of awesome fun events.

Actalent found me a well-paying position near my home. The process of onboarding was a little frustrating, and the benefits are not what I had hoped, but overall a good experience. Support for interview prep was excellent, and responsiveness to my needs and concerns since starting has been prompt and thoughtful. 

EASi is a great place to work with experienced and qualified people. The work environment is very encouraging and quality of work is good. The office is located in a favorable location.

Actalent truly invests in their people and provides continuing opportunities to develop yourself professionally and personally.  The team culture is like a family. Supportive and always pushing you to be your best.

not impressive and is disappointing...rather not think anymore of how mgmt there expects total homage without questioning what is unclear and ultimately it was a dead end job.

Actalent has a great team culture, everyone is so supportive and they truly care about my personal and professional development. Constant growth and financial reward once you put in the hard work and master the role!
