Management was good & supportive, helpful, and always trying to assist in your learning path.Being the shipping and receiving coordinator is a job with a lot of responsibilities.Greeting clients, guests, collaborators, and employees was very rewarding. Flexible working hours and various tasks throughout the day. Computer work, packaging, creating shipping documents, loading, and unloading incoming and outgoing freight, via many different carriers and couriers for domestic and international shipments.
I learned what it meant to be in a position with a lot of responsibilities and how to multitask while using the co- workers in my department. Something I like about the job was everyone helped each other out.
The most enjoyable part of the job was the knowledge you get from working and collaborating with professionals.
The hardest part of the job would be to ship all product out in a timely matter.

This branch has steady business, so there is always work to keep you busy and focused on. it is a fast paced environment with lots of potential to learn new processes and advance in the workplace. Management accepts feedback from staff and they work hard to make sure you have what you need in order to perform work tasks in a safe and productive manner. Paid vacation time off work helps to maintain a balance between work and home life . Annual wage reviews and Christmas bonus at Christmas time is a welcomed difference from other jobs I have worked in the past.
Production work can be redundant , however it is steady reliable work with colleagues who care about the work they do. Making it a good place to work overall!

I worked here for 2 years. It was a great opportunity for entry level position but this is not the company where you can stay for a long time. There are some employees who is working there for more than 20 year but as compare to current market competition there are so many companies where you can get opportunities rather than staying here with low pay and more expectations. During my journey with this company I saw almost every department has a all new staff over the year. No body wants to stay for a long time except some old age people. Company has limitless expectations with the same pay! Nothing new to learn not enough opportunities to grow. 

Working in the chemical lab safety is important. You are not penalized or made to feel bad about bringing up a safety concern. It’s handled in a fair amount of time if you are consistent. Coworkers and immediate managers were good. 

Assistance from head office was slim. They favour their own lab when it comes to maintenance and equipment needed. Employees are not paid near enough for what they do and conditions they work in. The bonus at the end of the year is decent but I believe most employees would agree that they’d rather decent year round pay. 

An privative owned chemical test laboratory. Everyone has to worked in chemical environments. when you works, it's unavoidable you can smell some chemical regents because technician and chemists maybe are operating chemistry experiments in the room next to your office. Do you want to wear PPE to deal with your office task everyday?

By the way, the company will hold your some money to prevent you from your resignation in your contract.

I remember this one time I had to use the eye wash, and it didn't work. when I informed management(very nepotist) they acted surprised and said they would fix it promptly. Next week I was talking to another employee in the following shift as mine, and he informed me he had told them months before, and they acted the same way!!! another incident I found out that the fans weren't properly working for months putting all employees at risk

Interesting place to work, in terms of analytical technology.  Alot of smart people work there.  Management needs to be more driven by good values and not expediency and they would have developed a better business than they have in some areas.  Many customers have left because upper management was not interested in learning how other business areas beyond geochemical, should operate to be successful.

Worked here 3 years without a pay increase .
Left with no opportunities for advancement.
Slave labour for garbage money. 
Wouldn't work here ever.
Never appreciated and they just expect more out of you when you work your butt off. 
No bonus incentives no reason to work keep working here. Good starting job. I wouldn't stay here.

I would recommend this place, lots of work (overtime available), starting wage is decent, room for growth with the company if you have good work ethics. 

Informative and great in house training when you first start, supervisors and management are respectful and make you feel comfortable during the training process. 

Signing bonus if you pass your probation period. 

A typical day I would problem solve employee or production "issues"

Learned a lot about corporations and family run businesses

Management does the best that they can with what they have

Co-workers are some of my best friends.  All very laid back
