Adamson Systems Engineering

Pros: 
-Learned a lot while working here in terms of a whole scope of a manufacturer and different roles + duties. 
-My initial boss was an amazing person and very bright. 
-Had no qualms with most people and many were very pleasant and hard working (GM, OM, etc.). 
-CEO is nice. 
-The owner, though comes off as abrasive, is quite intelligent and can be a decent person. 
-Engineering department was promising. 
-Pay was decent to start.

Cons: 
-Felt it was more what you said and if you walked the walk and talked the talk versus actual hard work. 
-Hardwork = more work with no additional benefit since they saw you were capable; only got compensated if you complained. 
-At same time, saying what may smitten the uppers is what gives you possible advancement without need for coercion. 
-New boss was a bit of a dolt at times. Very smart on some matters, clueless in others. Could tell their interest was not there at times. 
-Company organizational skills were not optimal; this company has a lot of potential if this issue of communication or better effort at collaborated + organizing information was made. 
-suboptimal practices in a few areas/duties but dissuaded from improvement for various reasons (both logical and a few illogical)

Summary:
Overall it was okay. People were generally nice and hard working aside from a small few that take advantage of the hard work of others. A lot to learn and decent start pay. But getting advancement/praise is oddly construed at times. 
I hope for their success and a knowledgeable pursuit of a mission statement/business plan versus disorganization causing loss of foresight.

The company engages in a variety of manufacturing processes from R&D to final paint and has tons of interesting technology to learn and work with in electronics, wood-shop, machine-shop, and assembly. If you are truly interested in learning and growing as an individual, this would be one of the best places to work at. 

I am grateful to be a part of this organization and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a fulfilling and rewarding career in the audio engineering industry.  It is full of long-term employees and long-term employees from other major companies ending up here which does tell a lot about the company's future and direction. Adamson Systems Engineering deserves a five-star as an organization for its unwavering commitment to its employees' success and well-being.

I started working for Adamson in December of 2023. The job has been very rewarding so far. I'm able to build on the skills that I already have, while also learning new ones. Management has always been supportive of me, whether it's related to work or my personal life, and they encourage me to grow and better myself. Not only do I think of this as my place of work, I think of it as my second home.

We take great pride in our work, and at the end of the day, we feel a sense of accomplishment. We work well as a team because we all have the same goal: to provide a great product to our customers.  Our products are manufactured in-house, which you don't see often in the pro audio industry so the job can be demanding at times, however, management is always there to support us. 

Adamson truly is a wonderful place to work with so many opportunities. This place makes me feel fulfilled as a professional and as a person.

All of that being said, if you're not willing to put in the work, follow rules, company guidelines, or any other expectations in general, you will not last long. 


Adamson Systems Engineering not only provides you with valuable experience in the world of speaker manufacturing but also offers the opportunity to learn about the product in-depth. I worked there as a production scheduler for over a year, but due to personal reasons, I had to relocate to a different region.
 
My experience working here was truly fantastic. Not many workplaces create an environment that fosters personal and professional growth like they do. The company encourages its employees to strive for excellence and achieve greater milestones.
 
Overall, my experience at Adamson was really positive, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a rewarding career. The company provides plenty of opportunities for growth and learning, making it an excellent choice for those looking to advance their skills and knowledge.

This place is an absolute joke!! Don’t even bother it would be a waist of time and stress you don’t need.. There is no job security, doesn't matter if you have been there for over a year or a couple weeks.  They are back stabbing liars they tell you, you are one of the best workers but then  fire you, they only tell people what they want to hear they dont know how to be honest.They will walk by you starring at you,  there is  absolutely no talking dont matter if its about work or not you will get in trouble. So there for there is no team work.  You can do all the overtime you are allowed, they give you a list and you bust your butt to get it done for them then after lunch they fire you while they are hiring other people.. There is a click there and you better fit in with the group or your out.

I've been working in electronics for 8 years now, and it's been a great experience. I started in final assembly and then worked in drivers for 2 years. It's nice being able to work in different areas of manufacturing – it keeps things interesting.

We're focused on making high-quality products in-house, and the management team is really helpful. They always take care of any issues that come up. I'm happy here and plan to stay until I retire. They trust us to make their products, so I put my heart into what I do. 

The system we have now works well, and the positive vibes around here make it a good place to work. Our main goal is to satisfy our customers, and I think we're doing a great job at that.

It's a shame to come across negative reviews about Adamson, my personal experience has been quite the opposite. Sure, every workplace has its ups and downs, but I'm genuinely appreciative of the opportunities I've had here, thanks to Adamson and the awesome folks I work with.

Working at adamson has been a good experience for me. If you're ready to put in the effort, you'll be appreciated, but if you're planning on taking it easy, this is probably not the right place for you. Not everyone may know this, but Adamson literally creates loudspeakers for huge celebrities.

Give Adamson a fair shot despite any negative reviews you may come across. It's been a rewarding journey for me :)


I haven't been here long, but it is by far the best place I've worked to date. 

The facility is modern and packed full of high tech equipment. The management team are friendly, open minded and accommodating. Wages are very competitive, especially for the location. No day is the same, new challenges are always arising and everyone works as a team to overcome them. 

I am extremely happy to be a part of their team, and I feel appreciated for giving it my all each day I am there. Also, as a musician, it's also pretty cool being a part of one of the leading loud speaker technology producers in North America. Many famous artists use our products. 

If you like hard, rewarding work, this place is for you.

Coming to a new country was challenging, but Adamson made it easier for me. This is my first job in Canada, and I'm really thankful to be here. I only speak Spanish, and I was scared it would be hard to get a job because of my language. But Adamson hires many people from different backgrounds, so I felt comfortable here right away. One of my co-workers, who also speaks Spanish, helps me translate. Your background doesn't matter; the work you do does. 

The managers take good care of us. I've had a few raises since I started working here. I'm really happy to be part of this company.

I have worked here for just over a year now in the drivers department. I'm also an Engineering student at Ontario Tech University. Management has been really flexible with my school/work schedule, and they have also offered the possibility of an internship here, once I'm done school.

Transportation into the office is easy for someone who has to take the bus in, the bus stop is conveniently located just down the street. 

Overall, my time here has been really rewarding, everyone has been easy going and very helpful.
