Addella has some of the most ambitious and motivating people I have ever met.  After only working there for 4 months my perspective on life has changed alot.  I now have goals I set out for myself, I learn something new everyday that is actually useful.  I feel good about myself because I obtained so many new skills.  

The job itself is selling,  but the purpose of the job is to learn how to manage yourself then manage a group of people.  I never did sales before and now can walk into a business and pitch pretty much anything with confidence.  Theres no sleezy salesmen tactics taught, just a pitch and techniques to use to make a sale. 

The opportunity is huge, all you have to do is have a set of balls and learn the systems and not give up.  After a while you get good and feel amaising that you can do something so many people can't.  

This job isn't for everybody.  Most people prefer to have a job that doesn't require anything more then pretty much just showing up.  This job is actually so easy.  You literally go around to business and talk to people all day.  You sell office supplies which every business needs.  Once you learn the pitch if you have a outgoing personality and confidence you will be successful.

The best part about it is you pretty much work for yourself, and have a awsome group of people that support and coach you along the way.  Honestly if your just a basic person with no drive or personality, its not for you.  If you are motivated and want to be an executive, its for you

Addella has been teaching me things I would have never learned in school. What we do is not for everybody, just like school is not for everybody. You have to find what works for you. Find your match. 

If you know you will always work harder than anybody else and are tired of not be recognized for it, Addella will be the perfect fit for you.
If you are looking just for a clock-in/clock-out type of job this is not what it is.
We are at school to learn how to become entrepreneurs and think for ourselves. Therefore if you want to get ahead quick, you have to put in the studying time. 
 
What one can learn in a 1 year period here at Addella is more valuable than any internships available out there. You will learn about yourself, learn how to communicate and learn how to win in any circumstances. 
It provides an opportunity long term but also develops strong and transferable skills. 

Just coming out of school, by joining Addella I knew I would make more money than what my resume qualified for. Purely based on my work ethic. 

Also, in my two years working here I got to travel to Montreal, New-York, Texas and California few times for both business and leasure. Every time it was an incredible experience.

A typical day at Addella would consist of everyone getting into office at 7.30, followed by an occasional meeting else practicing pitching until 8.30. After that, a game according to the day of the week will be played for half an hour with upbeat music to get started for the day. (You'll get some good laughs). Then at 9 we would continue to practice pitch and get some announcements done and leave at 9.30 for field. We would acquire new customers for our clients campaign, and visit businesses in an assigned territory. We would have to manage our own time and route, and we would have to maximize it since the pay was based on commission. After hitting our doors, we would get back around 5.15 and break down our day to see how we could have improved and get some coaching done. We would usually leave work by 6, or at 6.30 if we had any one-on-one mentoring set-up in the office. It was a fun and challenging environment and everyone that worked there had a positive attitude and were genuinely nice people, but as much as it was fun, it was challenging and demanding at the same time.

A typical day at work was reach the office at 8:00 in the morning and start of the day with a leaders meeting with the owner. This meeting would generally pay heat to methods and policy to be adopted to enhance performance and analyse if we are on the right track. After that we used to have some fun with 15 mins of Taboo or some other game, just to charge the mind and body for the day. After that we had a some team discussions on goals for the weak and campaign meetings. Then we used to hit the field for the rest of the day. Our goal was to meet 40- 60 business owners in a day and make at least 3-5 presentations for our product which would give us 1-2 sales for the day. We were supposed to report back to the head office by around 5:30 and hand in the application forms to be submitted further to the companies for processing. I worked for Moneris Solutions, which is currently biggest company for Credit/Debit machines and POS terminals.

Addella is the first real job I've had after graduation, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to start. Every day at the office is a learning experience - this is a place to feel inspired, to be challenged, and to celebrate individual victories as a team. The management team here does not patronize or reprimand, but leads by example and instills constructive habits through encouragement. The most enjoyable part of the job is the work environment - the fact that everyone here is so driven yet humble, competitive yet cohesive. There is a genuine sense of camaraderie that one could not find anywhere else. The hardest part of the job would probably be the long hours and the modest immediate returns, but the amount of time and effort you choose to put into your work is completely of your own volition, and a great mentor once told me that "you have no leverage on tomorrow if you are not excellent today".

I typical day at work would involve being at the office everyday at 7:00 AM weekdays and weekends to organize sales advancement workshop for new trainees. Here is where I learned effective public speaking with medium to large size groups.

9:30 AM to 5:00 PM involved hitting the field and generating sales, often times with a trainee tagging along.

From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, myself and my stellar management crew would have one on ones with new trainees breakdown their day and diagnose where they needed help to improve.

The most enjoyable part of the job was working with highly motivated and ambitious individuals and getting the chance to gain experience in a leadership role, recruit, train, and help people grow to their fullest potential.

Addella has everything I could ask for in a work environment, the people here are like family that push you to challenge yourself while having a lot of fun at the same time. I have never been surrounded by so many young, inspired & ambitious individuals in an environment promoting and focused on both personal and professional growth and development. Personally, I have developed habits positively attributing to my personal effectiveness including time management, public speaking, and how to effectively communicate and coach others. 

The potential for career advancement is uncapped and comes down to your willingness to put in the work and seek out the help of management and others who are readily available and willing to provide ongoing mentorship and direction.

The best part about working at Addella was the positive and fun environment and the unlimited number of resources available to everyone - every day was about growth and development. The hands-on training really set me up for success and at the end of the day it was whether I was willing to work hard or not that determined my results. The skills that I learned here are the types of things I knew going to school wouldn't have taught me - leadership, public speaking, how to coach and mentor others, what it means to have an entrepreneurial mindset and a relentless attitude. This is the type of environment where anyone can excel as long as they're driven, willing to learn, and want to work hard!

Everyone in the office is so full of energy and they do an excellent job of pumping you up and supporting you through everything that you do. Unfortunately, because pay is all commission based, it's incredibly hard to feel secure in this job. I feel like you end up sacrificing too much of your own personal life in order to simply keep up with everything, and even then there is no guarantee that you'll succeed. If you are willing to really put in the work to go forward in life, by all means, sign up with Addella. I should say though, that if you don't prove yourself relatively quickly, you will feel a little ostracized by the bigger team members.

All these splinter companies use almost the same modus operandi. Vague, stock photo websites where you have no idea what they DO.
