It's a very fast paced environment. You'll be on your feet all day. Co-workers are great and helpful. Management has unrealistic daily quotas  that they pressure you to get to but still occasionally raises said quota even though technicians are unable to make the previous ones.

Management is sometimes all over the place, you may get different instructions from different managers/supervisors but they try to be friendly and understand otherwise.

Workplace culture is mostly ok, the occasional team BBQ or Lunch. You are encouraged to keep your head down and just work though. 

The job isn't particularly hard if you know how to assemble computers. It'll take time to learn how each model goes together.

No upward mobility within the company. Met people who have been with the company for several years and where still Jr Technicians getting paid the same as when they started.

Working as an Inventory Worker at Advanced Skytech has both advantages and disadvantages. On the positive side, the job provides a stable work environment and helps employees develop important skills such as attention to detail, organization, time management, and teamwork. On the downside, the role can be physically demanding, as it often requires standing for long periods, lifting items, and performing repetitive tasks. During busy periods, employees may face tight deadlines and increased workload, which can be stressful. Overall, the position is well suited for individuals who are responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The ones who stay long enough turn out to be the current management teams, who lacks of proper management skills to run this company, that is the reason why the job duties and working environment were a mess. You have to accept the fact that you do not get a raise very much and face the non-stop yelling from the management. Stressful not just for people work in the warehouse,but also for the HR team.

My job in this company was fair but fast pace since I was on a line belt some issues were about this job was the spray painting chemicals and over spraying or under spraying keyboards to meet the standard refurbishing quality. Also occasionally you would have to re-spray keyboards due to not enough clear quality paint on them or to cover up any visual imperfections such as other precious chemical paint or cleaning . Had some issues with health for breathing with 2 masks with regular surgical mask and gas mask on top over long periods of time from long periods of spray painting sometimes. 

I work on refurbished computers, customizing them based on what is required from our customers. The tasks are quite repetitive, and only change once every few days. For example, I will often do the same task on a large batch of computers (50-200 average) for several hours with little to no change. The work is slightly physically demanding, but not seriously demanding. The mental side is fairly light as it doesn't require a massive amount of thought. There isn't much workplace culture to speak of, people just show up, do their job, get paid and leave.

The company provides a great work environment and opportunities to grow. It's a very fast pace workplace and you have to be able to think quick on your feet. Also, it's a good place you can gain various experience and have chance to group up very quickly. 
The company is growing, and there are many opportunities that can develop your skills and grow within this organization; also, Staffs’ input and opinion has always been taken into consideration.

Boring, doing the same thing hundred times everyday.

You will be assign swapping/removing CPU when you first get in. Then ram, ssd/hdd, dvd, CMOS battery install. After that system(window) install. 

They may assign you to other position when there is a lack of employee

Things are standardize to ISO so they are 'okay'

Great management and company culture!

Applied as a technician but it felt like you become a factory worker where you do one thing over and over for the rest of the day.  It get's really boring. They ask you to do a lot of numbers in a day that doesn't justify the pay it's crazy.

The employees are very helpful and will help out when you have questions and need help. I had a very good time working here.During COVID-19 period, the employer did great to take care of our employees, including salary increase, prepare masks and hand sanitizer for us and our families. I strongly recommend AST.
