Due to working concerts, hours would be very sporadic; usually starting anywhere from 10 am to 3 pm and dragging on anywhere till 2/3 am. It was a very physical job, requiring carrying folding tables, dragging around a manual forklift/pallet truck, lifting heavy boxes, etc. As well as requiring decent math skills due to the fast paced environment which often did not allow for the use of calculators. Depending on how well each stand did all together and how many hours were worked, that would determine how much you'd get paid. The insecurity was a big reason as to why I left this job; there would be one concert that did really well and you would get paid upwards of $200 but there could be others and you'd get paid as little as $60, even if you worked more than 6 hrs.

A typical day at work is cleaning throughout the Air Canada Center. First I vacuum and clean the VIP Suites, then cleaning the dressing room for players, followed by sweeping the court. After the event has finished I usually throw out the garbage. I learnt that timing is important, while also to make fans happy by cleaning the stadium and being professional. The management is always supporting us and encouraging us to do good, an example is giving us awards. They also give us accessories for the Raptors and Maple Leafs, while providing the necessities we need for work. The hardest part I have experienced is cleaning during crowded events. But my most enjoyable part of the job is listening to artists while they perform and celebrating with the fans when our team scores.

The Fan Experience department has a terrific staff team, and it has been a real treat to talk to them, as well as the hundreds of fans that come to the FanZone. On a typical day, we set up a few games and prizes before we open up and once we have our prize winners, one of us goes up to the child's seats during the game and hand delivers the prize. It feels great to make a kid happy by giving him a Leafs or Raptors backpack when he/she wins a fun, little contest in the FanZone. I love making a good first impression to fans because it's great to see some of them regularly come to the FanZone and talk to me about the Leafs/Raptors.

A typical day in my job as a Customer Service Training manager involved both individual and group work.  The primary benefit of working in this capacity allowed for fluid transmission of work and ideas in an environment where I felt encouraged and supported to succeed.  The management culture had a comprehensive performance management profile that was linked to experience and compensation  I was able to travel extensively meeting professionals from many cultures, many of whom I still know today.  The organization valued effective leadership training for all its management personnel and offered a very good work/life balance opportunity

-	Stocked and tracked inventory and supplies
-	Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to costumer’s special needs

I was part of a fun and hardworking team who enjoyed their job. A typical day for me would be a lot. I was responsible for stocking the warehouse and product distribution throughout the ACC. It was physically demanding, lifting up to 150 pounds (kegs) at a time. My team and I always got the job done fast and precise, even working the midnight shifts. The hardest part of my job at first was lifting a full keg, but after a few times of doing it I got used to it. The most enjoyable part of my job would be working live events and interacting with fans and seeing the joy of them being there.

Working at the Air Canada Centre was nothing like I've experienced before, working there was very face paced but also very fun and exciting because you get to watch games when your on break. 
A typical day at the ACC is exhausting when there is a game going or concert because you have to be able to work very fast and be able to add and subtract in your head, you also have to be ready for some of the intoxicated customers that get a little rowdy in your work space. Most of the time it was very enjoyable to work there because everyone is having so much fun and the managers help make you feel comfortable in your work area.

Very professional office in productivity and well maintained. Everyone seemed friendly enough, and would say hello if that's the first view of them you had that day. Like all offices there are people that are close to each other, and seeing that I was the last hire and from and agency to booth whenever. I was alone for the time I was there.


Not accommodating for the I'll. Doctors notes will not help even if you had a legitimate reason . It will be a strike . You get 3 and your out . Any lates even 40 seconds or less will be counted as a strike . They act like they care but only revenue is important . Their employees are expendable no matter how good you are at your job .

it was a nice environment to work in because of the different people that I worked with and I got to see and experience different types of events  and shows such as concerts and sporting events.
I learned how to interact with different cultures and good customer service skills.
In general just going to work to see what new experience that day would bring me.
