When I joined as a co-op student, they handed me a big responsibility, where I had to conduct a project. 
They trusted me with this project where I was required to invent a new dry cycle method for a effective, efficient and fast drying panel to help increase the productivity. 

This place over works its employees and treats them poorly. This place also pays not so great for all he manual labour. Ok for some young people. The older we get it gets harder and people are treated badly. Expectations are to much. They want you act like you are a manager ,but treat you like you are a bottom feeder. Place really needs a management overhaul. Almost as many managers as employees. Its like 4 people trying to figure out how make one person work harder. 

The managers are the worst part about working here. They like to micromanage and talk bad about other employees, this then trickles down to the employees who then complain and that leads to a toxic environment where everyone is backstabbing each other. Safety is a pretty big issue here with management failing to enforce safety protocols and enforce PPE standards and employees bypassing guards on machines. 

Almost everyone I encountered while working for Akzo Nobel were fun, competent, and caring. Management did their best to ensure that employees felt valued and listened to ideas and concerns Safety is very important at Akzo Nobel and it treated as such by management and staff alike. 

this company provide me with confident and customer satisfaction. the main roles are QC, research and development as well as customer service. I learned how to work with team to get the job done with less error and mistakes.

The Winnipeg location was closing down when I started here but the environment stayed positived and everyone worked hard to the last day. This job translated into another in the same industry and gave me a strong knowledge base moving forward.

It was an excellent workplace as far as having a fair workload, pleasant customers who called in and tasks that were fairly assigned.  I particularly enjoyed the management style.
