What is the best part of working at the company?
The residents are the best part

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Never enough staff, always stuck serve 90 seniors with 2 servers if we're lucky we will have a 3rd one

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Not good at all!!!!!! No respect for their employees the ones that busts their butts are the ones  are constantly getting penalized. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
We need to start a half hour early as theres isnt enough hours in a day to accomplish what they want us to accomplish

As the Concierge Manager, I found the salary ok, except the workload was so great, the salary wouldn't have made a difference had it been more. The salary was based on a 7.5 hour day. If there is not enough time in a 12 hour day to do the job, that would tell you that there is too much workload for one person. Money would not have made a difference if you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel? They go through about 1 Concierge Manager per year, since I left. Front line staff were awesome to work with.

You'll be promised the world and made to think that you're getting a true opportunity to make a difference then the truth sets in.  Be assured you are not respected.  Expectations will grow exponentially without insight or rationale. Worst of all you will NOT be given the tools to do your job, supplies to do your job nor will you be set up for success, then, laughably, be reprimanded for it.  GM lies and miscommunicates to residents and staff.  Stay away!

Worst of all you will NOT be given the tools to do your job, nor will you be set up for success, then, laughably, be reprimanded for it. The sales and management team, besides needing to lay off the heavy perfumes, are SO insincere. I've never worked anywhere more toxic. Definitely,  RUN.

Management is terrible and have absolutely no idea how to properly run foodservice or take on leadership roles in general. Servers are not treated with respect, lots of disorganization. Having management that show respect and value their employees really does go a long way, and this place ain’t it! It always blows my mind how retirement homes like this can charge residents such high rates for living when the food is not good, unexperienced cooks hired, and the employees are paid minimum wage.

They use you until they need you. 
General manager is a big child that needs attention all the time 
Residents are amaizing people that they are the only ones that appreciate you. 
Is too bad because is a beautiful place. Please change all the managers they need to be educated.


The manager is unorganized, does not respect availability, and never schedules enough people so we are always understaffed. Does not know how to organize a kitchen at all (never had what we needed to serve food-wise and had to alter the menu). Residents and other coworkers are amazing and were amazing to work with. 

This place is so poorly run. Middle management and staff have an extremely high turn over. The current GM along with the director of Operations have run this place to the ground. Short staffed all the time. The resident care is highly questionable. It’s sad 

Amazing and friendly environment, great team.worked closely with supervisor and with a team of 7.Planned fundraising events, sold tickets. flexible work time but usually 9:00am to 5:00pm

This is by far the WORST company to work for. The turnover is like no other. Absolutely brutal expectations, tiny pay, miserable residents…. Their problem is the owner and upper management (VP) 
Absolutely in it solely for money.
