Alberts Family Restaurant

I love the environment of the restaurant! It has always had a very friendly/family vibe to it, that seems to be carried through company wide, not exclusive to a certain location, from my personal experience! The staff is usually pretty tight-knit and welcoming both to customers, of course, as well as towards new/old employees! It's a very balanced work flow, not too fast and not overly slow, where you find yourself searching for things to do all the time. Overall, I really enjoy working for this company, for the most part. The *only* "complaint" I have is the lack of benefits, which isn't a huge deal if you're holding this as a part time job and/or are in Canada where health care is basically free!

A typical day at Albert's is that when the servers fight over a certain table . I worked all by myself from 7:00am till 11:00 am on a busy breakfast but Its not a bad thing for me,I love what I do and I like the fast paced environment  it  makes me feel alive and energetic. The only hardest part of the job is that when a delivery comes in on a Friday morning that i have to open the kitchen and receive and put away the deliveries and cook all at the same time but it is just a matter of timing.The most enjoyable part is that when a a very satisfied customer will give a compliment to the chef.

With our 55+ menu section and our kids menu, we have something for everyone. Any time is the right time for Albert’s. We serve fresh food fast not fast food.

It was a fun after school job, very friendly staff and you always felt welcome when you got there as long as you were prepared to work. The people are nice yet you only really have older set people for customers, and the place has mold and bad smells and rats if you're looking for it.

Loved their food, the team wasn't my favourite to work with. But I still made the best of it. Honest group of workers that got their job done, so I really have nothing to complain about. It was great! It was my first job out of high school, and it opened up my love for hosting and serving guests!

Busy working on doing my job with the dishwasher and the group showed me some prep food work. The hardest part of the job at that time was they gave me so many hours and then they laid me off. but gave me a reference letter. I was trying to be a loyal employee to them.

This was the best job I've ever had, not financially but the staff and my managers were simply the best!
I loved working here!
I felt like family there as did all the other staff members.

This is a typical restaurant setting. The customers who frequent this establishment are great. The management is very fickle. The harder you work for these people the less they will stand behind you.
There is no job security here at all

Management sucks co workers are nice but our to take your hours from you favoritism there and if you dont watch your back they will stave you in back bo matter how much you work hard not good enough for them

The owners are very nice and make sure that we all sit down and eat together like a family so that way all us employees get to know each other. Although it only stays open til about 3 in the afternoon and really cuts back on your hours, it's still a nice place to work.
