All Peace Protection

All Peace Protection is great if you’re first getting involved in the security industry. I would also only recommend if you live in the assigned area as they do not offer travel pay. Expect to pay for your own gas and flights to get to wherever they need you with 0% chance of reimbursement.  
The pay is low ($16/hour to start)
Management treats some employees in higher regard to others, especially supervisors. Some employees make more money and have travel expenses paid for them while others do not. 
In the long run, APP only cares about its clients and their bottom dollar. Employees are a dime a dozen to this company and it shows through their high turnover rate. 
If you’re a confident security guard with experience, you will find more suitable companies that treat their employees better and pay them more.
However, if you’re looking for short-term or are just getting into the security industry, All Peace Protection will benefit you.

Management is incredibly unreliable and difficult to get a hold of. The pay is minimal and they will avoid increasing your wage regardless of the time and effort you put in. However they are willing to hire new employees at a higher rate, so you'd get better pay if you quit and got rehired. 

Company culture was similar to high school, with a focus on drama and gossip. You're better off keeping your head down and getting onto a site where you can work with as few people as possible. 

One good thing is that you can essentially take as much time off as you want as long as they're able to cover your shifts. 

Management treated employees poorly and was biased. If you weren't apart of their "family" you couldn't work in the office. Were too ignorant to adapt to make changes for certain sites. Very poor company vehicles. If you weren't liked by management you had the least reliable vehicle to use for patrols, etc. 

Management also followed bare minimum regarding Alberta work laws. So when it comes to pay, you needed to pay attention to ALL your taxes being removed, holiday pays, etc.

Apparently there is new management now, so hopefully things have changed.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Confidence bestowed on guards and flexibility for the use of company equipment without constraints. Assistance in carrying out tasks not blaming guards for faults.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Ever aspect of the work is stressful 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good . I don't really have much to write on that

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Just like a normal working day . But it's important to be on time

Management lied about raises and lied about saying I quit and told me they had no work 
Management then asked me to work a post after working all night and tired to force me to work that night on no sleep , I turned it down and they let me go 
Promise of a raise two times and nothing, told me I had work few days before I left the company saying they had no work and gave it to another guard after I refused to work a different job with no sleep and they said “ we have no other work 

They treat their employees well and the pay is alright. The thing I didn't like about working for All Peace is that they hire wanna be security guards. I've worked security where I've gotten to make arrests and ACTUALLY do my job as a security guard. Working here, felt like I was just getting paid to play dress up and check doors. If you do catch something, no hands on, call police and wait. What a joke, when I could make the arrest right there.

Compared to most security agencies APP has great working Staff and Management . They will look after you when you look after your job and Company. The patrol vehicles are in A1 Condition..they have various site locations..in or out of town

Long hours and some times long stretches of waiting

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Sedentary position.  A lot of time spent sitting waiting

I worked in all potions for over 2 years , Management was good for problem solving for guards ( they would work with the teams to ensure they had time off if needed). Lots of room for advancement overall a great place to work .

Loved working with all peace protection. Everyone was kind and understanding. They were also friendly and supportive in every way. I felt like I was valued part of a team. Hardest part was the end of the project when everyone went each their own way. I am looking forward to working with all peace in the near future.
