Alliance Door Products

This company is the best company I've ever worked for. My first indication of this was that I came to Alliance through a program called Intro to Manufacturing. This program offered the employer a subsidy for my wages for the first 6 weeks. Alliance Door Products refused it. They were happy to pay my wages in full rather than taking the subsidy offered. 
In fact, our owner paid us our wages for a two week Covid shut down out of his own pocket rather than having his employees burden our governments coffers applying for unemployment insurance. (we figured that would have totaled over a million dollars for our site alone. There are multiple sites. Not many can say their owners would do that.) 
 We work in a respectful protective environment and are well compensated. We have bonuses, free lunches and outside events as well, all of which foster an inclusive family environment. Management are supportive and work with you to help you set and reach goals to help you develop as an employee. They are also very forward thinking, when Covid hit, they had the forethought to purchase supplies and inventory over and above what they would normally purchase so that we would not fall victim to shortages of supplies that would stop production and have employees out of work during such a chaotic time.

Essentially all you have to do is show up and try. You are not just a number and the people and the business are the focus, not the almighty dollar.




I worked for this company for aalmost a year and it did have it's ups and downs  ( what company doesn't?).  They are always open to the opportunity to help you build your knowledge and send you to their vendors for information and to see how everything is done. 

The Sales Manager goes above and beyond to ensure you have the time off as needed for family situations, children being sick, or even if you just needs day to yourself for whatever reason.  

Yes- there is an employee who takes pride in her negative attitude and yells, name calls and plays the victim  (and gets away with it), but the sales manager does everything he can to prevent it and keep it to a minimum... which is sometimes out of his hands.

Work is easy enough just stacking and drilling doors with practically no supervision. You can call out sick as much as you want they dont care. All the good people quit from there so theres nobody left to train new employees anymore. Feel bad the team leads are doing everything running the company while managers sit in their offices all day and contribute absolutley nothing. I was among the entire production team that complained about the production manager to the HR dept. and absolutley nothing was done about it. I was fortunate enough to leave there as they just dont care.

I was responsible to prepared orders for shipping, wrapping and labeling products.  I learned to drive a forklift and load and unload products.  I learned alot about the window and door manufacturing business.  I liked working with most of the employees there.  I would have liked to move around to other areas of the job, but managment did not want to train me to work in the production area, but the shipping and receiving department.

starting out working here was pretty enjoyable until things started to go south. the crew of guys was decent but the production manager threw a fit like a toddler and told everybody to quit. then most of the good guys did quit and he fired the ones that didnt. its just a revolving door for new hires lately with no sign of any change happening. the manager is just a kid firing anyone that hasnt quit yet. hopefully i will escape this place soon. everybody here is planning their escape as well. avoid at all costs.

this is the best company I have ever worked at. despite what all other reviews say everything is going well and everybody is happy to work here. anybody saying otherwise is lying and will soon be punished for it and possibly fired. nobody has ever or would ever quit the company they cherish the fact that they get to work for me every day. this company is super generous and is always willing to advance employees if they listen right. we cant pay much but its better than nothing so take it or leave it.

It is a very small door shop with under 10 employees. The warehouse is a mess but the workers have become so complacent no one cares and just keeps their heads down. Nothing is documented for procedures on work and you will be blamed for not following rules that were never written down. As the new worker you will be expected to work full speed even when there is no work to do and other workers are busy socializing. New ideas are actively shut down and ignored. This is a go no where job and I wasted time there with empty promises. 

this place is not great. find somewhere better you will be way happier. you just get stuck at a dead end where they forget about you. they dont care about growing employees here they just think everyone is an ant that needs to fall into line. if you like being talked down to and thought of as just a number than this place will be perfect for you. theres no subervision and they dont train you so you will be on your own so be prepared.

the moment you step foot in the warehouse you are engulfed in a toxic work environment. management is clueless, disrespectful, and more concerned with their own interests than the employees. they create a never-ending crisis to justify their own incompetence. everyone wants to quit. the turnover rate is astronomical. no one can tolerate the stress, frustration, and demotivation that comes with working here. stay away from this company.

Was very congested but worked with mostly good people. I learned the Raymond each forklift there. I performed many jobs throughout the day & learned new things from my co-workers. Found out I could not trust management to honor their words, concerning a verbal contract to build one office for a set price. Ended up building two offices & then them not honoring the price for building one? I trust management, but these guys broke that trust.It saddened me greatly.
