With 2+ decades in the business working for a competitor, I made a transition to Allmar.  The Allmar team welcomed me, made me comfortable and are very inclusive.  
With any company challenges present themselves.  With Allmar you will find support from your co-workers and management alike.  If you are looking to feel like a part of team with everyone working for the same goals of success, this is the place.  
Allmar has work culture unlike I have seen through personal experience or from competitor colleagues account.  It is a big company with a "mom & pop" family type feel.
Wages and benefits are market competitive and on the higher end of the spectrum.    
Great place to have a career not just a job.  My only regret, was not coming here sooner!

It's not always easy at work. with any job really its not ALWAYS easy, but at allmar it can get really ridiculous. 
I love 90 percent of my coworkers, so that isn't my problem with the company. 
I am underpaid, so are my calligues. 
I love doing a good job, allmar doesn't always allow for that to happen in the process of day to day work processes associated with the office. 
It has been getting worse. Worked here for 3 years 

Dependable, hardworking and very detailed. 3 years working in the construction field working in residential and commercial hvac and carpentry field.
•	Experience working with a wide range of power tools in the carpentry and construction material
•	Knowledgeable in general carpentry ,site safety, site preparation, formwork layout
•	Proficient with hand and power tools to include drills, air compressors, levels, saws, chisels, planes, rules, squares, plumb bobs, carpenter levels, marking gauages
•	Possess high school diploma, valid license with excellent driving record, reliable vehicle, good quality hand tools, and able to lift up to 65 pounds

Allmar isn’t a good place to work. There’s no support from management or the company. The training you receive isn’t  training at all. Every process changes with no accurate update of change. They’ll discuss things in your interview and agree to them and fully change their mind once you join. Job wasn’t as described. Overworked and underpaid. Not a team like atmosphere. No warehouse processes, and they have no idea what they’re doing. Constant orders going out wrong.

Excited to work their. Started lucrative new program that was geared to be successful. Turned out senior sales staff was paying off reception to send my incoming calls to his sales team. I handed my resignation in when I discovered this. There are many other honest and very experienced people with integrity working their though. Environment is unfortunately just not governed or maintained by manager. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Not being in the office with the office workers as just a waste of time.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Being asked to do useless reports and lack of communication. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
a very toxic environment ! Lack of Communication and no guidelines or guidance! put


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I was out visit customers and hearing their problems and situations that no one would solve for them.

It didn't take long after onboarding to realize I made the right decision to work here.  Allmar has been the best work environment and employer I have ever worked for in my almost fifteen years in the construction industry.  Allmar is eager to invest in their employees' training and futures and like to promote from within--something I greatly appreciate.  The branch I work in is extremely collaborative and very innovative.  

It is about Allmar's Inc. Overhead Doors Division
Backward, outdated equipment and tools. Horrific organization, absolute mess in the workplace. Heavy loads over 100 Lbs must be carried on a head. Except PPE, no safety at all. Injuries at work remain unreported. Always shortage of staff due to absenteeism.
My workplace like revolving door: people last there only few months.
I will not wish my worst enemies to work there.

Management turns blind eye to lazy and careless workers. Several employees would go for 2 hour lunches and others would work straight out all day to keep up.

I find that Allmar is supportive of it's employees and everyone has the opportunity to advance to the level they want to achieve. Allmar is a larger size company with a smaller company feel. Allmar offers education support as well as training to help you be successful in your role. Really enjoy working here.
