My experience at Alpha College was marked by a distinct lack of professional growth opportunities and a constant undercurrent of job insecurity. The management appeared indifferent to employee concerns, fostering a demoralizing work environment. Additionally, security guards adopted a micro-management approach, further adding to the challenges faced by the staff. 

Unless you want the work experience where you have to punch in and out for every little reason and have a security watch dog report everything you do to upper management, don't bother applying here.

Every company has its ups and downs but the life at Alpha isn't all that bad. The departments communicate seemlessly, the students aren't terrible and the atmosphere is relaxing. 

You can easily vibe with your coworkers and there's time for everyone to communicate about anything at all. Your team will be your family here. I believe everyone here works their hardest and strives to make the environment super friendly and welcoming. 

Student services is the heart of Alpha College and it's a privilege working for this team of like-minded individuals! You won't find a better team than the student services department at Alpha. 


The only positive experience that I had was bonding with my co-workers, outside of that every aspect of this job was horrible. Pay, benefits and the CEO sucks. If you are looking to apply for Alpha, it is not worth it. They will fire you for the most trivial things, the CEO is cheap which is why they will fire you and replace you with somebody that will do the job cheaper than you. Upper management is great and tries to help you as much as possible within their ability but are handicapped due to budget constraints and the CEO. CEOs overwork you, underpay you and cut corners even if it makes your job harder.

Coworkers are supportive and we deliver things within tight deadline as a team.  I like the workplace culture and treasure my good teammates.

To support college expansion, leaders are promoting the services culture and provide chances for staff to learn new things when new services are introduced.  Sometimes there are changes needed to improve our service quality to better support our international students.

I see advancement opportunities when the college gets bigger.  Promotions did happen for good performers all the time. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Administrative support. If I have any issues what-so-ever-I can get comprehensive and conclusive support within a few hours at the most.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
For me, the commute, but new campus coming much closer to home.

I select a class I'd like to teach. I am accepted, I deliver the curriculum

This college gives me the opportunity to explore my skills as an international students. This college guides me and taught me that you are the only one to take action. 

College give me chance and I take responsibility and thanks to the college for giving me the opportunity to be in the front as a n international student from India. 

The management is so good and the students are happy to be part of the alpha community.  

Don't be fool of others , be the part of growing alpha community.

I have been teaching at Alpha since 2011. This is a wonderful college to work and grow your professional teaching career. Both management and academic team are super strong and supportive. You can easily access to all kinds of the learning materials and resources. Flexible schedule allows you to balance your work and life better. In fact, I really enjoy working at Alpha every day. IMHO, it is hands down the best choice I ever made.


Alpha College is a growing private college with multiple campuses in the GTA. The team is smaller than a typical college or university which leaves room for professional growth and advancement. One defining feature is Alpha's student-centric approach. The dedication to student success trickles down from upper management to faculty to employees.

Coworkers are all very nice and supportive. Too bad they can't do anything about upper management who will fire you on the spot for any reason. No company growth and good luck trying to get any sort of wage increase later on. They would rather fire you and hire cheap labour. You will be watched over heavily and be micromanaged on everything you do. If you enjoy that then good luck!

Alpha College always treated me well! Great events, positive work environment and solid opportunities for growth! Senior leadership cares about the employees and really tries to help everyone learn and grow! 

I made lifelong friends here, I would still work here if I didn't move!
