This is place is great place to start a career in ABA. You are able to work with kids from 2 -16 yrs of different ends of the spectrum with different challenging behaviours. The kids are honestly the best part of the job, when you pair with your client and create that bond it's amazing. The thing that makes it is not that great is the pay. The start pay is $24 and after working 1600 hrs, cause pay raise and benefits is based on the number of hours including if your client decides to take vacation affect when you will get. But after 1600 hr, you get a 50 cent raise. They use have a system that every two years you get a raise, now its every year, you get a raise. But again based on your hours worked. They added another incentive for home based clients, an extra $1 and challenging clients an extra $2. There is also a salary position for therapist as well. 

 One thing is bad is there is no consistency. Your schedule is not set and you can go from a full caseload to only two clients. Most clients here have funding, once your kids funding runs out, it will take a while for you to get a new client. Another thing, is the upper management is never seem to be on the same page when it comes to the therapist hours or schedule. You gotta do a lot of chasing to get a full schedule. 

For workplace culture, some of the therapists and senior therapist/BCBA are in cliques. However from my experience not everyone is like that. However, you can make some great friends there. Every year there is a holiday party that is all. Nothing else to build team morale. 

For growth, when your on a team with a good BCBA who wants you thrive, you feel motivate to do your best and are willing to help you problem solve any issues you may have with your clients. Some BCBA there are not the best and it show when dealing with their clients. There are also monthly meeting with some extra training to help with some clients. They also provide CPI training. 

Overall, it's not a terrible place to work, just wish the schedule and hours are most consistent. There is a reason why the turn over for therapist is high. 

I had an amazing experience working at Alphabee as an Instructor Therapist. The schedule is very flexible, which makes it easy to maintain a good work-life balance. The team members are extremely supportive, collaborative, and always willing to help when needed.

One of the best parts of working here is the strong support from the clinical supervisors. They are knowledgeable, approachable, and provide clear guidance and feedback to help you grow professionally.

I also really appreciate that therapists have the opportunity to review client cases before accepting them. Being able to say yes or no to a client ensures a good fit, which ultimately benefits both the therapist and the family.

Making the decision to work for AlphaBee was the best career move I’ve ever made. 
The team I work with is supportive and insightful, my manager is always willing to help me learn and grow and is awesome at giving both positive and constructive feedback. 
The hours are great and they’re always willing to be flexible in terms of school schedules, giving more hours over the summer etc. 
They also offer FREE educational courses!!! 
You really can’t beat that. 
The clientele I work with is right up my alley and I’m so excited to develop my career with them. 

I enjoy working with children, and teaching children in a fun group setting is something I looked forward to everyday. The monthly meetings kept us updated on new teaching techniques, and helped train us to better teach the children so they can learn and get past any hurdles in their ability to learn certain skills. Very friendly staff and scheduling team, especially supervisors who put you at ease, so you were willing to make that time to learn new skills and better yourself as a staff at Alphabee.

Evenings and weekends were a lot. Little to no drive time pay and you travel A LOT. 
STs are rarely around and visits with them and clients are not routinely planned. 
If you ask for support you have to prove you need it. 

I’ve worked many places in my time and AlphaBee is the most memorable. Staff is amazing and very knowledgeable. Learning never stops. Amazing company!

Overall, it was an excellent experience. I enjoyed being around all of the children every day. Employees are very kind and inclusive. You're always around such good people. Management is very friendly and understanding.

The clinical team was overall supportive. They are easy to approach and always willing to help. The working schedule is not the best. If your clients cancel for vacation or something, you won't get any hours unless there is a fill-in opportunity. 

Alphabee is a great place to work. They provide a lot of flexibility with accommodation of schedules. The draw back was lesser number of hours, it would be an amazing organization if they could provide more hours.

I learned so much at AlphaBee especially as it was my first exposure to the field. Got the chance to do in home services along with in centre. Amazing management overbite and training.
