What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing best,worst people they are one
Kind of people working so many years there. If your not same race with them you were doing the hard work all the time

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful is when there are many machines down expect your the first person to be sent home, and they dont want to work with because im not speaking their dialect 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
So racism in their own way. Its sad so say that im experiencing racism to the people that also immigrant like me, not the
canadians

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Chaos not need to go work to survive because thats covid time hard to find one

-Typical day is hot and noisy due to 30 plus machines running. 
-I have learned  that production comes first no matterif you are doing your best. If the machine fails it's your fault, If target is not met it is  still your fault even if the machine is not running. 
-Management cared only of their targets and less failures. 
-Majority of the culture is one culture only so it's hard to fit in and most people speaks in their native language instead of usingh English as the main laguage for workplace in Mississauga.  Hardest part of the job is fitting in . 
-Most enjoyable ? None I only laster 2 weeks then I quit this job. 

in the beginning they entice you with decent pay, many promises of advancements and company lunches/fun activities for the kids. This is a joke, they couldn't care about anything any less than making a profit. Even at your expense. Be prepared to give yourself to this company for for 12 years without recognition or any sort of just general appreciation as a human being. You mean nothing to them! The supervisors would rather kick product to your feet and tell you to "pick it up". 

There are no coolers & AC in ISBM at Mississauga AMCOR plant . Mechanic , blenders and higher management they find place for themselves around some cool area to sit , but packer must always around machine , they can’t leave their machine . The direct heat from machines drain all heat from your body, right now Mississauga     weather is hot , still they are not installing coolers /AC in ISBM  ,& they expect us to work fast . I am getting headaches from last 2 days because of working in excessive heat . Just trying to find other job . Management is totally ignoring heat situation.

not hard especially when you knew your job. co-workers were there if you needed help.management look at you as a important part in
their success.i worked in different department in all my years with the company and enjoyed everyone of them.i learned that the more you know the better it is for you and the company.

it was great experience working with the company.I learned a lot about injection blow molding machine and maintenance.It is fast paced work environment . Management is supportive and friendly.
Work culture is good and people are very friendly.
I am the only Mechanic in maintenance department that makes some of my days very hard .
Maintenance, repair and trouble shooting of equipment is my passion and i enjoyed it .

This company and management are so great like family. they treat everyone, immigrants, newcomers like family and part of the business. people here complaining they are very spoiled. but this company is very good. we get good money and good benefits and feel like home. you do not feel like this outside. when you have to work outside you will know what is good and bad. i am very happy to be working her for 2 years now. 

- Working a 12 hour work day every shift. 84 hours minimum every 2 weeks
- You must wear safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, and a safety helmet provided by Amcor to ensure a safe environment
- There is a pager at every machine in case there are problems. Once you page someone will help fix the problem to prevent damage and wasted product
- Management is very understanding

This place is one of the worst place i have ever worked a. the women there are extremely jealous you and u professional, especially if you are not of the same “background” They talk about you and will lie on you to get you in trouble. Horrible experience. I would not recommend anyone who is not of the SAME race demography there at Amcor to work there. It will be problems.

This is the place to work when you love stress-full environment and lots of work. Management care more about the machine than the workers. Management is the worse they fire at will and dont make the workplace safe. Lots of favouritism and politics behind the scene.

Dominant culture rules they even have translation and disregard multi culture hirings .

Glad I was out.
