My experience at [past employer's name] was characterized by the wonderful people I had the privilege of working with. The team was composed of highly skilled professionals who made the work environment enjoyable and supportive. Their dedication and camaraderie were invaluable.

However, it is worth mentioning that the compensation at nissan did not adequately reflect the level of effort and commitment required. Despite putting in significant work, the pay was not commensurate with the expectations.

Nevertheless, it is important to acknowledge the positive aspects of my time at [past employer's name]. The company provided opportunities for personal and professional growth through challenging projects and a culture that fostered innovation. Additionally, the non-financial benefits, such as comprehensive health insurance and flexible working hours, enhanced the overall work experience.

While the pay may have been a drawback, the remarkable colleagues, growth opportunities, and supportive work environment made my tenure at nissan a valuable chapter in my career journey.

I worked here as a sales advisor. I had never worked in sales before, so I was unsure how it would go.
The training that I received at the start was definitely adequate, to the point where I sold 20 cars in my 3rd month! 
After applying and being successful at a number of other dealerships, I ended up choosing Applewood Nissan because of the team culture vibe that I noticed during the interview process. This continued throughout my time there and made the experience even better!
The continued training is something that I loved too. Daily training is you want it at the store, and fortnightly training at the training headquarters. 
I only left the job because I left Canada, but I'm extremely happy I got to work there. 
Lots of room for growth in the company as well. I ended up being promoted to Internet Sales Manager and if I was staying longer the opportunities would have been even more.

Horrible upper management. Cult like atmosphere where scare tactics and manipulation are part of your daily regime. Toxic work environment with lame training from a narcissistic leader who spends most of the training talking about himself. If your a good brown nosed you will rise up quite quickly in this company. I would not recommend to anyone.......stay away. 
The staff has felt the need to point blame at each other instead of taking responsibility for actions....this can only be created by upper management.

dictator style management, stressful, best at scamming customers (drain their wallets), greedy (af), poor trade in values, no discounts on anything, low iq workers, dozens of useless managers, cheap on everything, unprofessional service, unorganized (especially in business office), unwilling to close when closing time, frequently moving furniture and more..

PLEASE STAY AWAY

While I learned a lot during my experience at Applewood Nissan and the workplace has continued to evolve and change, I feel that some interactions with management could be improved, particularly in terms of communication. It is a good place to advance your career, but there are times when experiences can be inconsistent.

Day to day is very hectic - hours are long (12 hours or more). You are expected to do a lot more outside of work hours. The people are nice but the general culture is toxic. Great way to get experience in a very fast paced environment but any extended time there will burn you out. Very poor managers

Traffic is good, training is good. Bit lack of work life balance. Overall is a good size of dealership, enough support from management on sales. But if you want to be top guy, need to lose some work life balance.

Good place to gain experience in car sales. Management team is good but the second you speak up about issues or pay structure they handle you right away and you already forgot why you came to talk to the manager. 

Worked for this store for 2 years, love everyone.
All the departments get along well, very friendly and good to be around. 
I ended up moving to Kelowna, otherwise, I would still be there.

Working on cars in a fast paced environment, physically demanding, requires to be on feet all day for me would be fun. everyone in the team will try to help you improve and grow.
