I feel i should way in here, as I am one of the guys that i feel is being referred to as one of the employees that was injured on site and "let go". I feel i was looked after for the most part, but, was "let go" as i am a complete liability and am not able to do the work required anymore. Other than that, the company all in all isnt a bad place to work. As stated, all employees that worked there really lacked communication, but that seems to be everywhere you go. My issue is that I feel I was "let go" without a reason. But they did state there was nowhere else for me.. But even after my physio and my surgeries i am not able to be back in the industry and have had to find a new path.  If youre looking to work here, know ur limits at what you do and dont count on anyone to keep your job for you as they stated, about the safety act. The company is pretty lenient on the brake system for the most part as long as you work hard. The biggest part I would share is, if you are doing the job and the management want to intervene, let them. Probably the safest bet anyway.Other than that, wanna work here..... apply..... its really no worse than anywhere else you go. We all talk trash about the place we worked at

A typical day was always a busy one, where the journeyman glazers always taught you the proper ways and technlques of frame preparation to caulking, to glass installation, to finished product,. It was time consuming.The end product made you feel proud of what you had accomplished. The hardist part of the job is the weight of the glass, so it can be dangerous.The employer always tried to have the best safety equipment and tools readily available,but it is a young mans game as it gets harder to do as you get older.

THIS PLACE IS FULL OF "WANNA BE GODS GIFT OF GLAZIERS". MEANWHILE, THEIR GOLDEN BOY IS A GROCERY STORE MANAGER. The "safety isnt worth the paper they print your ticket on. No one there has first aid, or any amount of legit training for the lifts. The owners son is the one that tickets everyone and doesnt make them do any practical properly. None of their lifts or heavy equipment is properly serviced by a proper service tech, the owners son inspects them all and passes them after he rigged them.

sad reflection of what the company once was,,, shop is a total mess , hazardous in fact ,, owners son is running it and obviously has no idea what he is doing as far as saftey and site management goes hires friends who will put up with these awful and unsafe conditions ,, was relieved when my work ended there ,, truly relieved ,, never again 

Everyday there is always a new challenge and a new project that needs to get done for our construction site crew to complete their work on site, sure it can get difficult at times but we always find a way to get our jobs done on time for the sake and safety of our site crews, it was never a dull moment when working inside a Fabrication facility

I started off as a safety personal. Within 1 year had many different job descriptions. I was always busy and learning new things from bookkeeping, scheduling jobs, working with the estimators ,ordering materials for jobs. It was just very sad that the new  operation manager let me go when she found out I was pregnant.

Architectural Glass is a good place to work, with good hours that is local in the city. the majority of the people working there take grate pride in their work

worst place that I have ever worked.  in a managmenet position they cheat the employees and then take all holidays sicks day everything away from. Employees fear going to labour relations.

Expanded knowledge of this skilled trade with many learning opportunities and room for advancement. Worked on various projects including the international airport.

Fast paced, fabricating frames, loading trucks, loading and unloading of glass units, reading blueprints, dealing with on site construction issues and building codes.
