Training isn't good. You mostly have to rely on co-workers. Most times you're guessing about what needs to be done on a service call, because the managers don't know how the tubs work. Then you get pressured to do every service call within an hour, regardless of what needs to be done. If you can't finish the service within the hour, they push you to leave and have the customer set up another service call. You are just a grunt here. Don't expect to be part of the "family" because that's reserved solely for the office staff. They will disregard you and take the manager's side without even talking to you, even if that manager had only been there for a couple weeks. Vehicles are constantly falling apart and it's a fight to get them serviced. There's no organization, and your ideas aren't heard unless you are a part of the office staff. You're also expected to show up early or stay late at a moments notice. They will know about a job where you need to start early for a week, then tell you the day before. The owners are nice, but neglect the company.

Owners under value the technicians and shop hands and treat them very differently than sales and office staff. Management does not properly train employees and often leaves them to fend for themselves, or lean heavily on their coworkers. The owners treat the building like their own personal storage unit, leaving you to work around carparts, old furniture etc, in a work place where every square inch is very needed. Management tends to frequently over promise and underdeliver, leaving their staff to try to gloss things over with the customers. The family who owns it are very nice but don't accept feedback well regarding their company. Any mistakes that happen get blamed on past employees rather than management taking accountability for their own faults. It was always felt very frustrating cleaning out Tubs, making repairs or doing stock while sales staff sat on couches drinking coffee for hours watching you work. Should you choose to work here expect alot of physical and mental burn out.

They hire for personality, not skill. If you don’t fit their image, you’re not considered for the job, which causes a lot of mistakes and drama.  The management team is unqualified and untrained, which leads to constant drama and poor communication. HR stirs up more issues than it solves., and is there for the company and not the employees. The head manager works out of the States and relies on someone locally to watch over things — but if that person doesn’t like you, they can make your job miserable. You’re able to learn new things every day and getting to talk to people from all across Canada and the US is great while being able to help them troubleshoot their concerns. However don’t expect there to be any training. There is none, you’re expected to learn on your own, which results in errors, telling customers incorrect info errors in scheduling etc.  No training program whatsoever. As a result there is a very high turnover. 

Very frustrating place to work for. There was little to no training and work orders and info about jobs was wrong more than right. Management would never listen to any concerns you would have. The vehicles all have major issues and trying to get anything fixed was like pulling teeth. The office staff and technicians are treated very differently. Technicians are expected to work until they drop but the office staff get to sit around and have coffee and shop online while on shift. The management say they have your back but as soon as you turn around they are the first to stab you in it.

The owners are amazing ppl that will help you out and make you feel important and appreciated. The job is very demanding and sometimes dangerous. You will never have a known time that you will be home. Every day is a little different, but the days fly by. Not much room to advance. If you like working in all weather then you will enjoy.

Highly recommend working here. They work hard and play hard. Be honest with them and work hard, you will not have an issue. There is a lot to learn. They will train you to be the best that you can be. Please put in your effort and go the extra mile, they recognize it. 

I have worked in many of the areas at Blue Falls. I would never have chosen fields of work with fiberglass or plumbing had i not tried the different areas at Blue Falls. The management out in the yard was the most understanding and fair people to work with.

-the software/equipment provided are often sub-par making it very difficult to do anything with excellence
-processes are continually changing
-culture is not professional - very casual and sometimes crude

The location manager (who I have heard has now been let go) did not wish for anyone to make more money then her. There was no room for advancement and was a toxic environment to work in. The pay was horrible and no sense of belonging or support for staff. I left within 10 months because I couldn't handle the power hungry manager.

My time working at Arctic spa was almost life-changing. the Foreman's were amazing the employees were awesome to work with everybody worked in sink and everyday you at home feeling like you accomplish them a real good sense of self. Love the job 10 out of 10
