- Communicated with clients and vendors as well as other departments within the company
- Collected and deposited rents and other payments from commercial renters and vendors
- Prepared and presented correspondence requested by Property Manager
- Dealt with issues within the properties of responsibility
- Worked in conjunction with the Property and Building managers
- Responsible for the leasing contracts; their application and term
- Contacted, via dispatch, various staff members for problem resolution
- Responded to clients concerns and problems, which was at times the hardest part of the job, as I would want them to feel and know that their concerns were our concerns and we would make sure that whatever situation would be looked after and rectified,.
- Electronic accounting practices for payment to vendors on a monthly basis, as EFT payments, as well as telephone communication when needed
- Updated and upkeep of filing system
- The camaraderie between all staff members made this busy and sometimes difficult position a very rewarding and enjoyable one.

Usually I would be doing paper work, which consisted of filing and data entry. I would also do bank runs, which consisted of me making payments for certain bills. Management was friendly, and the work environment was fun and friendly. The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to interact with coworkers and not just coming to work and doing your job and then go home. The environment was not stiff so everyone was friendly.

Arcturus was a great place to work, we all worked as team and had fun doing what we were hired to do. Management were helpful and always willing to teach you and provide the necessary motivation to do better as an individual and aa a team. At times it felt like we worked as a family. The client was a fortune 500 company and we were treated well when working for them.

Exciting fast paced work environment, with exceptional team members who work collaboratively to develop best in class Property Management Services.  Has a great work culture with a people first approach (employees & clients).  

Management and co-workers are very supportive and provide a collaborate team approach to managing day to day business activities.

Deal with messages/calls, mail, accounts payable/receivable, would be doing extra work for the Assistant property manager as she was mostly out of the office, There was only 1 co-worker and things were fine we had different work. The hardest part was not enough hrs in the day to complete the extra work. The most enjoyable part was dealing with the tenants and vendors.

An employee focused company. Takes good care of her employees. Good work-life balance. However, client attrition is not being addressed and may cause the company to eventually close down if that continues as there has been no true effort in marketing for new business.

A little more time and this company with rule the roost. They have the ability to lead the industry in management and their hiring of great people has driven them to the forefront.

This was a short-term contract with a company which was losing the contract to manage the Loblaw/Choice REIT portfolio within months. I was able to transition the properties to the management of Choice REIT

Pleasant atmosphere and fun colleagues.  Very flexible with hours.  The ability to be able to work from home if required.  A very easy satisfying experience

Salary and benefits are good.  No overtime unless you volunteer.  Great staff to work with.  Office was a staff of four including myself therefore best to have all get along.
