Overall a great environment to work in.
-A typical day was reading & interpreting blueprints in combination to placing steel correctly.
-I learned what I am physically capable of on the job.
-I thought that management was fairly decent.
-My co-workers had a great attitude and worked well as a team.
-The hardest part of the job was some of the positions to put in steel.
-I would say the most enjoyable part of my job was creating a structure from the ground up.

Ardel Steel, was a great place to work, well run and amazing people. I left for medical reasons. I really wish I didn't have issues, I could have seen myself working there for a long time. Anyone getting a job there, would be well taken care of.

I drafted detailed working drawings for the re-bars used in reinforced cement concrete. Communicated with clients for their needs and schedule of their work. Prepared Re-bars bending schedule for ardel workshop.

I was originally hired as a "Structural welder" I did no such thing. The "Welder" there is also not a certified welder. He is one of the most arrogant and undermining person I have met in the industry but cannot back any of that attitude with any of his work. 

Worst place ever to work. Their management does not deal with the ongoing problem with abuse from the foreman from the shoop. OH&S and the Labor Board have been contacted and still nothing has been done! terrible!

•	Tying the bars together with wire according to the blueprints
•	Ability to cut, bend, hammer or weld to correct size
•	Tightening cables
•	Lay steel mesh
•	Move the bars into position

The schedule is very nice and flexible. Work is fast paced and productive, this is a very good company to work with especially if you're in a union. If you join a union you'll get increased benefits

I was only here to do a work placement for my Office Administration course. It was good. I was always doing something, I learned a lot of new things and got to learn a lot about the company!

Good people, hard workers, great work environment as you are on numerous sites with numerous trades. Great boss and management. Professional and willing to teach new rodbusters.

Management is selfish. Pay is under the industry standard. No job security. I would not recommend this job to my worst enemy.
