Army Cadets

At Army Cadets i was responsible for creating the fun yet challenging   activities for the kids. I Also trained and instructed them on how to march, salute, wear a uniform properly and maintain a good attitude. i learned how to be a lot more responsible and look after younger children. i believe i was a great influence for them and created a safe and fun environment. My co-workers soon became friends that i still talk with today, which made the whole experience better. The worst part of the job would have to be waking up at 4 a.m, also trying to discipline kids that constantly misbehaved without being too hard on them. The whole experience was enjoyable because it was something i love to do. Also, because i made a lot of new friends and became more disciplined and responsible.

Tough stuff, had to wake up early morning for drills, then breakfast. Food was all powdered I think, then more drills, drills, and drills. Sometimes we'd do an activity like ziplining, but it was mostly marching and cleaning, teaching us discipline I guess. Management was nice, as was my fellow cadets for the most part. I guess it mimics the military in that sense of tough work but good people. The hardest part of the job was the lack of privacy when we went to sleep as we slept in 10 man tents. The most enjoyable part of the job was the bond me and my fellow cadets gained through our training.

It would be from 6 - 9pm. My job was to teach lessons to the 20-25 children that I was in charge of. I would also work with the band to arrange music, teach music, and arrange steps towards demotractions for events the band will play at.

The co-workers are very loving and caring which gives the feelings of building the family.

This is a very interesting field to be involved in and i would recommand this to everyone.

great job, Very rewarding. positive members and the cadet program is solid. Ages 12-18 these cadets learn a variety of skills as well as making life long connections with fellow cadets all over the world. My job was to make sure these cadets had all the instruction they needed as well as the fun things like marksmanship and recreational activities.

It's a fun environment where you get taught the fundamental skills required to be a member of the Canadian Armed forces when you get older. I enjoyed taking part in excursions in the wilderness where we gained a stronger bond with our fellow Cadets. A great experience for me in my teenage years.

what we do at cadets is teach children and young adults how to manage time, be a good leader, and help everyone achieve their goals and expectations, you gain so much knowledge about past wars and how to survive in the wilderness. its a volunteer job

There was no punishments for bullying at all whatsoever which made me end up leaving after a few years, the higher-ups were great though and they were always there to help you out.

i got to help veterans and serve them food and take care of them and talk to them and learnt a lot. i got to do some charity work for a food store and got to mean and speak with a few very nice and generous people.

This was just voluntary, Was able to learn so much, create many friend, learn how to lead and command task of many different activities. great way to get out of the house, very motivating. Definitely would encourage others to join!
