This company has both it's good and bad points.  They are a government owned operation that has a fairly relaxed culture in some areas but overly formal in others.  They fully support training and development although the financial support has been diminishing the past few years.

Offer some great benefits including a full gym, fitness trainer, great working facilities, great pension and benefits.  The most challenging part about the job is trying to identify who is accountable for actions as that is usually blurred.  The people are the best though....most are highly supportive.

It was a great environment to work in. The staff was fun and really great, and management was somewhat approachable. We all got along great. The work was interesting, and I gained a lot of experience on a multitude of platforms. It was a great experience for me.  

I followed a ticketing system, so each morning I would prioritize the tickets to maximize my time and spend it on the important issues first. I made friends there that are still my friend today. It was fast paced which I loved ! Not many chances for advancement though.

This was a short term contract position and did not continue after the initial installation phase was completed. The experience was an eye-opener in regards to corporate culture and inter-department politics.
If asked to perform the same operations again I would comply but would not want to become a permanent staff member.

A great employer with supportive management sensitive to the family demands of its employees. A friendly and inviting atmosphere with helpful co-workers. Hours make it possible to balance work and home life which is important. There was lots to learn and superiors are eager to share their knowledge and help you learn all aspects of the business.

Friendly supervisor and staff 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nit knowing if you'll get a call of someone who won large or who is gonna yell at you cause we stole all their money

Amazing, you have yout own work area

The location is fantastic. Good benefits and a great workplace but there is no job assurance. Management will take you out of your post without prior notice or warning. Little room for advancement.

Friendly co workers.  Nice clientele

 Race days are exciting and fun to once see so many regulars

Terrible communication 
 Extremely political . All shift work which makes it difficult for

Great place to work. I had issues with the industry that we were in though as gaming\gambling is not an area that I wanted to advance. Everyone is friendly there. I had a rotating group of managers and reorgs while I was there which made it difficult to have a consistent vision.

I enjoyed my years at ALC. It was a good/fun environment to work. They always provided a safe environment to work and plenty of training for the employee's. I have learned much during my years there and made many good friends along the way.

Positive workplace for the most part that promotes a positive and inclusive culture. Some role and product management ambiguity make things confusing at times. Leadership allows you to be autonomous but can lack mentorship which might leave you feeling isolated.
