Just don't work for this company. My pay has payroll issue since day one! Also, hours of pay (always paying less of course ) is another issue! You have to find out who is the superintendent of the job to chase your short pay working hours! Typical phone calls, text messages and emails I have to go through in order to get my little pay correct. What a mess!
The foreman I am working with doesn't take afternoon break, after lunch worked six hours without breaktime! Labour abuse there! Big red flag! One more potential problem is parking reimbursement but I have a good feeling there is going to be another issue. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing bad experience. Left me sitting on e. i. Management didn't call back 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Inexperienced management. Sending workers out with no experience for job they are performing.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Don't get me wrong spent 14 yrs. Great till they hired an inexperienced supervisor jobs started to go down hill.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Long and extenious working on production travelling to different cities to work

This company will take a roofer of 5 years and pay him the lowest and will take a employee with 1 year and give them more but except the same work for less pay, also the management is iffy the branch manager has experience on a roof the field manager has none and does things wrong alot, overall my experience was horrible plus they don't mention to you it's almost all out of town work until you start. 

When a lot of people were out of work due to the pandemic, the Owner and Senior Management team did everything they could to keep this company going and the majority of staff working. Working hours in the office are 9-5, which is typical of at company. Some staff start earlier, but finish earlier too. Atlas-Apex is a great company with great wages, great bosses, great co-workers. 

You will be talked to like garbage and can't trust hr because they are in the family's pocket, they will just get rid of you. Phony place to work. If you want to work here I would suggest not confiding in anyone and absolutely limit how much you talk to the owners kids, they don't care about you. If you heard how the owner has talked to employees you would be shocked.

Very fast paced work, and 10-16 hour days, 7 days a week. Pay was lower than I expected, but I suppose fair at 20 per hour. No vacation, and we worked through major holidays, some times out of town and away from family for weeks or months at a time. Overall isn't a terrible job, is a good company to work for if your interested in the work, but could use improvement like any business.

These people in management are self centered and do not care.  They know the job will get done so they turn their obnoxious heads the other way.  Rude and back stabbers........Not a place I would work again.  Ten plus years and they threw me under the bus.  

I was looking to learn new skills not be a garbage girl.  All crews need to learn to keep their job site clean. My site is always clean so when I get sent to another crew's site I don't want to be on garbage duty all day.

Atlas/apex was a good company to work for, there where some organization issues going on there with negative attitudes from some of the co-workers. i had a great experience there i have learned a lot and gained lots of experience from a couple journeyman roofers that they had there.

great company to work for although some employee dont make it easy for you to work just because they feel like it.  There is a lots of miscommunication between supervisors and crew. some foreman do not follow the company policy's and decide to punish the crew as they wish
