Made the switch from automotive service advisor to be an advisor here.  Pay is less and the during the slow season pay takes a hit but overall its not bad compensation for what you do.  

Probably one of the only places where I've worked where everyone seems to get along.  Obviously there are occasional disagreements but overall its a very happy and laid back atmosphere.

Stress and pressure levels are way better then working in automotive.  Despite the appearance of some customers they are almost all friendly and easy to deal with.  It makes things easier when you are dealing with someones hobby/toy and not their main source of transportation.

Honestly didn't think I would like working in retail as much as I am. I came from working behind the scenes in automotive collision repair and made the switch to work at Barnes Harley Davidson in the Motorclothes department almost a year ago due to health reasons from working in the automotive industry. So far I really like it. I enjoy going in to work because of positive and encouraging co-workers. Even in the Motorclothes department I find myself learning new things almost every day.

Everyone wants to see you succeed and the managers do their best to make that happen. The company cares about their employees, and they prove that by encouraging growth within the team and by offering free lunches on Saturdays! There are lots of fun events hosted by the company during the summer to help keep work interesting. The worst part of the job is explaining how the phone system works to annoyed customers who don't understand why their calls are going to reception when they're trying to reach parts.

Great place to work other then being a seasonal position. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Typically just the usual upset customers and busyness of the high season 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Awsome definitely a fun place to work 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Deal with the morning rush of early customers, answer customer inquiries, detail bikes, pick up and deliver bikes, unload new bike when they arrive and help techs when needed

My favorite thing about working here is celebrating our accomplishments!! Management really goes above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable and have the tools we need to succeed. They are good people to work for, care for you more than just as an employee or a number. 

It does get challenging in the slow season with not much traffic but there is always something to do to keep yourself busy. Endless potential no matter what department you work in. 

Exciting and fun atmosphere right from the moment you walk in the door! Its like a family, and it shows in every department. Very forward thinking company with old school value's. We literally sell the best motorcycle's in the world, with the best service, parts and motor clothes departments you'll find anywhere. From getting to ride the latest and greatest to having free lunch on Saturdays, this is the place to be!

It's like a 3 legged stool. Take one leg away and the stool won't stand. That and getting to ride any Harley you want is the cake topper. It's a fast-paced work place and I love making our customer's dreams come true. Oh and free lunch every Saturday!
