One of the reasons you constantly see that BBTV is hiring is because there is no opportunity to grow an extended career there. Management, known as the leadership team, sheepishly answer to the CEO and will not concern themselves with your ideas or recognize ability. In my time there I saw so many talented people burn out because they were not being taken seriously, people who had devoted many years of their life to the company. - Don't get me wrong- there are some FANTASTIC people who work at BBTV, and the culture is something they actively try to make fun. - It feels like summer camp, with councilors- and a camper will never be a councilor, but you can have fun. If this is your first job- awesome!- It is not a career destination. I only saw internal promotion a few times, they almost always hire new outside people instead of promoting internally. What's the incentive? The "horizontal management structure" means that nothing gets done without taking meetings about the meetings and more meetings- over simple decision making and accountability. This is a 'culture company' with 5 cheesy core values- but the one they don't include, but relish most, is vanity. That comes from the top and trickles down. 

BroadbandTV's direction is wholly governed by a small number of somewhat inexperienced executives who prefer to keep their heads in the sand; the status quo must not be questioned, constructive criticism must not be levied. 

There is an extreme lack of professionalism at the company and it often results in covert (and sometimes overt) disrespect towards employees. 

The creative and unique nature of their business model attracts eager, intelligent and fun staff at the entry, middle, and middle-management levels but these people quickly become discouraged by the unprofessionalism and disfunction. 

There are often sudden and unexpected layoffs which damages morale. 

Overall the company is not a bad place to work, but you need an incredibly thick skin and godly level of patience.

Unique place to work as the day to day tasks would not change very much, but that does not mean the work we were doing was dull by any means. It was a workplace filled with great individuals with whom you could collaborate with and learn from. The company gave opportunities for its workers to continuously grow and better themselves with advancement opportunities and learning budgets to use on courses, events, seminars. Management and HR was supportive in every facet and wanted to make the employees feel comfortable.

The structure of this company was ridiculous at the time that I worked there. There was a lot of turn over, which tells you all you need to know. I had no manager for the majority of the time I was there, so the only person I could report to was the Vice President, who had bigger fish to fry. There was no support for my small team, so from day one I had to figure it out on my own. Most of my co-workers were very nice.

If you are driven, creative and want to make a difference - this is not the place. The company is facing lots of problems which will be ignored and absolutely no transparency. If you have solutions - they will be ignored or even credited from other people. Management is very ignorant and most of them are not even working or willing to support.

Its pretty cool and fun place to work for young professionals. I don't think the CEO is good with the leadership, I saw just a ton of people come and go. But if your looking to dip your toe in corporate culture, this is a great place to start. Don't stick around to long, the pay isn't very good. 

I was working for that company for 3 years. I have been growing market by bringing a lot of sales. They promised bonuses in contract for a good sales, but they never pay these bonuses. They also screwed my immigration. Really bad management, you working a lot but no one see and recognize you. They just respect high level position, so don`t waste your time with them

I worked there as a writer and I've never had a company come across so disorganized and misaligned. My payments were always late, there was poor communication from people overhead, it seemed like no one knew what was going on. Everyone kept leaving the company. Don't expect to be treated with transparency or acknowledgements.

This company is fun for entry level, but don't expect growth from a career or salary perspective. A lot of nepotism as well with leadership where half of them have no idea what they're doing. Company is struggling with many problems but cover it under the rug with fake numbers.

The people at BBTV were amazing. I appreciated the culture and workmanship of the company. The MGMT was a bit scattered. A lot of cooks in the kitchen. Everyone was nice but a lot of tasks slipped through the crack.
