- Didnt had the option to rate it lower than one star, else would have
- Imagine a worst working environment, this company would beat that easily by a mile !! 
- Managers wouldnt hesitate a second to throw you under the bus to save their skins even though its not your fault
- You wouldnt learn anything new even if you stay here for eternity 
- The pay is really bad 
- The managers think its still medieval times and you are a slave to them 
- If you are planning to make any friends here, good luck with that 
- Always have to be on the look out who is going to back stab you

Work environment is pleasant - newly renovated offices and down to earth, friendly employees.  However, on a professional level, not everyone is willing to help out their colleagues, and management is not transparent enough.  Your job is not secure here, they have gone through several restructurings in the past few years.

BCA Research is a highly focused macro research shop, headquartered in Montreal, QC.  It's macro-directed research is among the best in the world -- particularly its Commodity & Energy and Global Investor services.

Co-workers are super friendly and willing to help you if in need. Work generally involves lots of collaboration with other teams. Really comfortable working environment

terrible management, bad moral, everyone is leaving the company...a massive exodus of  tenants...a sinking ship...there is no loyalty and honesty from management and research quality is bad....clients are angry

I was only there on a contract but my manager was great.  She trusted me to do my job amd gave me the space to do so.  There were a couple of difficult personalities to deal with but they were not in management so it is of no fault to BCA.  

Productive workplace with great learning opportunities and chances for advancement. Employees feel heard and colleagues are helpful and fun. Compensation can be better.

Some of the brightest minds in economics and finance work at BCA. Having the chance to be engaged in the research process and work with clients is very rewarding.

Great place to start your career. But turnover is high because people find better opportunities. I would only recommend it to new grads dedicated to macro research 

Too many cooks and too many insecure managers worried about losing jobs. Sales teams were taken off the road to save funds then questioned why sales were poor
