The pay rate and benefits are on-par with the industry.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The lack of communication from ALL departments in the company. Owner, Management and Dispatch. 

The horrible communication while on-site with other co-workers. Cannot understand them. Safety on site is very concerning. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Some co-workers are great, others you can’t understand are not safe on site and lack any form situational awareness.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Depends on the co-workers. It can be amazing and super easy or it can be complete chaos and very hard.

Does not acknowledge Traffic Control people with experience and will have TCP who are not very skilled to be leading. If you want to work with out frustration stay away from this company

Flaggers that should not have been on the road flagging

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is not a very intelligent culture. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It can be boring as the contracts do not have much to do or the Forman's on these contracts disqualify you from doing or knowing anything.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Decent Pay, sometimes you get your own company truck.

Trying to figure how not to be blamed for the  mistakes of management and their favourites.

Most of the LCTS and TCPs are very helpful and hard working. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Scramble for the correct signage, as you were given incorrect info and then you are blamed for the mix up.

They don't care about their workers at all, putting them in danger on a regular bases, and no respect for the Union contract.

the managment lying to you all the time, and then bringing in scab workers

Horrible company, the owner is willing to sacrafice his workers lives to make a dollar

safety is a joke, watch your butt if you work for them

They know their job well, friendly co workers no gossiping or backstabbing, understanding boss, pay is great

Going home at the end if a shift

Fantastic balance of work-life and anazing compa y

Wake up and smike if i get to work and smile u til i gave to go home

Made some great friends and got to meet a lot of the bosses who still stay in touch.

They constantly lied and put us in dangerous situations. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very low as we were treated worse than stray dogs. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Mostly mass confusion as we had to figure things out ourselves.

Extremely high favoritism, lack of communication with the employees,  management friends and family are the favorite that get the best cushion jobs with the best hours, lack of equipments on the trucks to perform your jobs, union is expensive but at least you get decent benefits, I will recommend to keep an eye on your paystub to make sure all your hours gets paid.

Working Nights  and summerand landslides

Awesome great coworkers and boss's are reasonable and fair

Typical night was 12 - 14hrs working afad

The management always plays favourites with LCTs and TCS, people who get dispatched to a site get bumped by people who havent been there 3 weeks. The owner or management doesnt give a hoot about the 1611 union contract. 

The good employees leave because of favouritism and the “elite” people pick and choose who they want to work on site.

their just isnt any enjoyable days with bcw. thgey lower your payrate instead of increasing it. the union is always on bcw side its crazy i dont recommend working with them. they are so bad at communicating with their employers. they dont support days off its a hassel to get a day off especially if you have kids they just dont care.
